They still charge you more to have an iPhone on their network.

No thanks, ill stick with mine and unlock my iPhone and save money every month instead of trying to recruit others to get a measly $25 gift card.

I thought I remember reading that the program doesn't work in all states.

My wife and I plan on each buying iPhones in January and joining my sisters plan which she will make into a family plan at the time. She receives a discount due to her work.

Would my wife and I be eligible to each receive a $25 referral if we are joining into a family plan? Is there anyway that my sister could refer us and she could get $50?

Hey Guys,

I'm one of those poor/ignorant individuals who did it wrong and signed up for the program BEFORE being referred. Do you guys know the proper channels to complain to so I can unregister myself? I already tried sending an e-mail to the regular customer care and they basically said too bad.

Is there a way around this? What if I just sign-up with a different e-mail address after bein referred?

Make sure your info is spelled correctly and you don't sign up before you get the referrals.

How long does it take for these to go through? From when a person places in the referral until the new customer gets e-mail?
 
Does it matter if I'm switching from Verizon to someone's family plan on AT&T? I'm not the main person on the family account.

Once the referrer sends the e-mail out to the referree, after he signs up and registers his information, it should take approximately 30+ days then you'll see if the referral has been accepted or not. Once accepted they'll mail the gift cards right away :)
