funny, I also said this
But here's the thing; I don't think about phones the way you do. I spend most of my phone life recommending phones for family, for whom I provide tech support. I can't recommend the Pixel 3a for my in-laws simply because I don't know that processor and that 4 GB of RAM is going to be good in 3 years on Android.
Sorry, I don't know that I can be much nicer about Android at this point. If I had your budget for phones, maybe I could run both, but I don't. I need an iPhone for work.
Here's a list of things I don't like about my iPhone
- Tyranny of the defaults
- Moderate battery life
- Siri is a joke
- Photos is slow as hell to upload to the cloud so I still use Google Photos
- The default email application is a joke
- It is a pain in the ass to set up all the accounts you need and to explain to your in laws how to set up iOS
- Apple services basically don't work with my work PC
Is that critical enough to meet your high standards? Shall I be more impartial?
I don't know when we suddenly became adversaries. It's too bad, though.
