I'd love to see a true a-la carte system where if I subscribed to or selected (example) AMC, I'd get just that, not an app where all the other channels are cross referenced/suggested and I'm constantly reminded to subscribe to things that I'm not interested in.

I currently have 6 different subscriptions (I know 🙄) for TV; Hulu Live, Netflix, Prime, Philo, Disney, Apple TV+ ... and while I understand the fact a lot of channels are bundled for a reason that they're owned by the same company, I would love to see just the channels/content I selected or I'm interested in, not something that is trending/popular or is suggested. How is that for a "problem" in 2020 🤣

OMG. How difficult is this.
1. I care about content not channels.
2. What I want to watch isn't based on my geographic location. My favorite sports teams local newscasters are not based in my state. Let me pick my local affiliate stream. Just because I am in Vermont doesn't mean I don't want to watch the Rhome, TX evening news and root for the University of Wyoming.
3. If you offer premium channels for the same price they are offered everywhere else than it is not a deal.
4. I would rather one channel that filters out content I don't care about.
5. I will pay with a subscription or with ads. Not both.

Not a sports fan ?

Either way no thanks. I don’t want bunch of channels I won’t watch. I have specific ones and just use a antenna that gives me all the local live stuff.
For what it's worth CBS isn't included.

Would be interested in trying it out, but I left T-Mobile for Comcast's Xfinity Mobile. I loathe Comcast, but the prices for cellular can't be beat, and my service with Xfinity (uses Verizon's network) was quite an improvement as well.

Interesting.

Light on the local broadcast networks for my area, but pretty strong elsewhere. Could be a viable competitor to YTTV.

Is not YouTube TV generally considered the best option for streaming TV out there?
It is for new subscribers but it's one size (there is 1 sports add-on I think). Best selection of channels but a lot of people want a la carte which they don't offer. Closest thing to regular TV subscription while missing a few channels (History, etc...). I have AT&T TV Now which is a grandfathered plan you can't get anymore and it has more channels for $5 less.

It depends on what exactly you're looking for -- but in my area it's been the strongest platform for local broadcast stations and regional sports (before the kerfuffle with Fox Sports regionals)

Definitely excited for this. Seems like a much better deal than YouTube TV and they also have 4K. Can’t wait!
Where does it say it serves 4K? I couldn’t find any info on stream quality, which is really a rather important aspect to these streaming services.

In NYC RSN area. No YES or MSG. Kills it for me. Also no MLB Network. Double Whammy!

I'll stick with my grandfathered ATT-TV for awhile longer.
