My card, or rather my parents, was charged on the 17th for down payment, tax, and shipping. Should I be worried it didn't get charged twice

No BS i saw that if it didn't get charged twice it meant that the bank rejected it or there weren't sufficient funds... something like that. After three days of pending in your account usually it'll go down even tho its already accepted. thats what Chase told me over the phone. I called them and gave them a heads up about incoming charges.
 
Wait, 17th? That is a good sign. If it was charged at the time of pre-order and you haven't seen anything since, that would be bad. But a charge on the 17th theoretically means they've anticipated sending your device at least and charged the card.

Well no shipping info from ups or t mobile. Robo lady says my order was placed on 9/13. I don't know what's going on
 
For what it's worth, I never even got a confirmation mail after I placed my order. I only knew the order was placed because it said so on the website.

Never got any text messages or anything either. According to the UPS site, the order was processed and ready for UPS on 9/17 at 5:30 PM.

Nothing even came up on the tmobile site until a few minutes ago, still no emails or text messages or anything from them at all.

You guys might get yours tomorrow without much information beforehand. Tmobile doesn't seem organized at all.
 
Just to give myself so hope did anybody get an email with a 22nd arrival but checked with ups and seen something that would contradict that??
 
I'm in the Seattle area. Ordered in-store (non Jump) on 9/12 @ 1:30pm with EIP confirmed before 2pm. My card was pre-authed for the invoiced amount, ground shipping, and taxes on the 16th. Got all the emails and texts stating my iPhone will arrive Friday. Still no updates via My UPS, reference tracking, my.t-mobile.com, nor RoboLady. I'm still holding out on a hope that some orders may not show shipping status updates before going out as has happened in the past and reported on this forum. I will check back after midnight PDT in about an hour. I've enjoyed reading your posts. I appreciate the more positive tone as of late.

I'm letting myself check one more time, and then forcing myself to go to sleep. Live update: still no tracking. Fingers crossed that the wave just hasn't made it to western WA! Good luck!!

I'm still waiting, however I was charged today so I really don't know what to expect. Anyone charged today with shipping?

New customers signed up on Monday 9/15 at about 3pm. Ordered a 64gb 6+ space grey, no next.

I received the 1-2 day text and nothing else. I called robolady and she says my order is processing and I will get a text when it ships. I talked to a rep but she didn't have any info for me either. On the order status site, it just says "pre-order" for order status. I also did a track by reference, but nothing came up. I also gave a $1 charge on my CC that has been there since Monday.

Short answer? Doesn't look good. I know it's a super popular color\storage\model. I don't buy the 4-6 weeks the reps keep saying, but I'd at least say 2-3 weeks.

Though, with how screwed up this entire process was, you might have it tomorrow!
 
I honestly think their priority isn't to update us... i know that sounds bad! but i think they're just trying to get as many shipped as possible. because at the end of the day those who get theirs shipped and received by tmrw won't give a damn if they didn't get updates. as for everyone else well!!!! I'm sure after tomorrow there will be more accurate updates just because now they don't have the pressure of providing for the launch day.

Well, for ****** and gigs I just looked at some of my old UPS MyChoice emails from TMO orders.

For the iPhone 5, I got the email at 6:33 AM and the phone was delivered the same day at 9:46 AM. Go figure. The iPhone 5 drop was NOTHING like this, obviously. But it just shows you how backed up notifications can get.

So, there's still a glimmer of hope. Right? I think? I hope?

I feel like there were a lot less people who were pre-ordering through T-Mo compared to Big Blue and Red. They had people going into November for Plus Models that ordered in the middle of the day on the 12th.

So, we ALL should consider ourselves lucky!

I've seen a bunch of "processed" and "processed but not ready for shipment" posts and was curious.

robolady and I will have a long talk on Saturday (20th) if she has been leading me on this whole time.

yes. we all got the initial pre-auth. mine went away a few days later and on the 16th i had two separate charges for the two phones i ordered. i think the second charges are the ones that tell you that your phones are shipping...

Friend just ordered tonight through att. He's not supposed to get his unt November 11 at the earliest. He ordered a 64 GB Gold

It is an American Express. The charge was only $76

Oh man, that's even better. So, that's probably just the tax on the phone. If you don't get it tomorrow, I would say Monday or Tuesday then. Again, they won't charge unless they are getting a phone ready (so far from what I've seen).

Well that 19th one is a new one! the one i got from her was that it had shipped and the other one i got was the not ready for shipment. hmmm ima give her a call now.
