If you're going the Apple store route, you have to order it online and agree to a Verizon contract. They sell out in a half hour. I got an alert at 3am EST. Logged on an saw multiple Apple stores had Verizon Space Gray 128GB in stock. I got an error checking out because the stock for the store I wanted ran out in like 5 minutes, but I was able to choose the store in Grand Central. Got an e-mail today saying I can pick it up.
Now I need to figure out if I am staying with Verizon or coming back to T-Mobile. I have some phones I can trade in if they pay the termination fee.
Check the weight of the packageThanks all, I could hardly believe it when I woke up to a delivery-today notice. Looks like there's going to be a LOT of movement today, judging by the other posts.

I also got a shipping alert form Tmobile at 2:59am.
So basically it suddenly appeared (as unicorns do) overnight, and is now hopefully on its way to my local UPS center. This had better not be another router. Like I said, I'll believe it when I have it in my hands.
Keep the faith, all you other unicorn-orderers, it appears that miracles do happen... when you least expect them and while you're unconscious, apparently.
Still sending the wife out to see if the local apple store has any VZW unicorns - if they do, I'd rather have that, and will see if this one can go out to another one of the long-sufferers in this thread (at cost).
The 6 Plus is 1.20 lbs

Oh it's 1.20lbs, I was joking (I hope). Maybe they sent me 1/3 of a router. With the way this thing has been handled...
EDIT: Woohoo! It's at the center, ready for pickup - I know where I'm going for lunch today. The center is halfway home... wish I could just go home straight after picking it up.
Sorry, don't mean to rub it in other Unicorn-lovers faces, just excited after all of this time and anguish.

Yeah, out of nowhere. I was just re-told by tmobilehelp that it was on backorder last night too. I wish they had a clue what their queue looked like.
Still no cc charge though. Maybe they'll just give it to me free for all the trouble
I think I might have my hopes up..... If my ups status is "label created 9/30/13 scheduled delivery: 10/01/14, By End of Day" when do you guys think I'll actually get it? No text from tmobile but my order status on my.t-mobile.com shows shipped....
If it hasn't moved at all, then maybe tomorrow. It was a 3 day process for me, 1st day they charged my card, 2nd they packed it and shipped it, and 3rd day (which is today) is out for delivery.
You've got every right to be excited!!!! I'd say take a half day....
t's an amazing device - I haven't been able to put it down since I got mine on Monday. iOS8 has had a rocky start, though :|

I also have my order out for delivery today. I ordered on 9/19 and paid for ground. Yet I'm getting my phone before some preorders, and I apparently got upgraded to next day air. Not complaining!

Just received a notification from Chase, my card was charged by T-mobile! Finally some real movement! Hopefully this means I will be receiving the unicorn shortly.

I just got a email alert for charges from T-mo! This is the first action I've gotten since the 9/19 text!
