WiFi calling

You do realize that WiFi calling only moves the last hop of the signal from T-Mobile to your ISP, right? After that, your call is still routed through the same infrastructure that all other calls are routed through. This outage impacted users on wifi, too.

Last night, calls and messages over WiFi worked, while on cellular didn’t for me.

That would explain why around 5pm central when I tried to call my husband it wouldn't ring or anything. This was with Mint mobile though but they do use T-Mobile.

No problems with texting in the past 24 hours. My wife is still able to send texts to me, and I am able to reply to her. Same with a brother in Florida. No problems. EVER. Since 1997.

No issues for me. Service working normally on my iPhone and iPad in Northwestern PA.

Is it a certain coverage area?

Looking to switch to T-Mobile service from At&t. Will my unlocked At&t iPhone XS Max and wife’s and daughters unlocked At&t iPhone X work with there service.

Guy at T-Mobile is telling me they won’t work I’ll get dropped calls

Also I know the At&t iPhone X won’t work with Verizon but will my At&t iPhone XS Max work with Verizon.

Did you make the switch. I have the same phone but unlocked. All they did for me was switch out the sim card. If you haven't made the switch, make sure the data speeds are decent. At my house I’m only getting 5 Mbps down. As far as phone call coverage and data speed, AT&T crushes T-Mobile. I think the only benefit is the free Netflix.

At my T-Mobile store they suggested that I switch the phone to a T-Mobile phone but Apple said it doesn’t make a difference.

Have no time to read John’s Twitter, did he blame Att and Verizon in the outage? :)
