T-Mobile: iPhone 6S/6S Plus Pre-Order Thread:

as of 8:25am (ET) Out For Delivery (6s 64/SG) ...probably sometime after 2 or 3 pm, as that's the usual time for UPS here. I just happened to be scheduled off today, I think that makes it harder to be patient.
This is the second time I've pre-ordered, last time was iPhone 5, after having 3g for over 3 years, then a used 3gs for 6 months, I couldn't wait, ordered from Apple just after midnight (3am ET). Last year I waited until October, switched from AT&T (had them since Cingular days - 2004) and had a hard time getting a 64GB 6 in space gray, went with 128GB went that finally came in. The reason for pre-ordering this time is mostly because of issues (network issues, I think) with the iPhone 6 and to get LTE band 12, as I may get more chance of better indoor reception. I'm also hoping what I read about bluetooth 4.1 & 4.2 is true, they are supposed to have less interference with the other radios over older BT. So, for me, it's more about function than the new features...those are just added benefits. I also decided to get on the JOD lease/free upgrade plan for now. I can go without applecare, and upgrade yearly, b4 the warranty runs out, and get new LTE bands, if they become available (and, got a military grade drop-tested case and screen protector - OWC's Nuguard KXs, which is a bit big for me, but less bulky than an otterbox). While T-Mobile has definitely improved over the last year, AT&T still had better reception and data...the addition of LTE band 12, and their continual building out may help this for T-Mobile, and keep me long-term.
FYI: I want to say again, for those that haven't JOD'd or ordered a new phone yet, find a T-Mo store and go there, this works much better than anything over the phone. Anything over the phone (billing, customer service, whatever) is the one thing T-Mo needs to work on the most.

Do these T-Mobile direct iPhones come with any stickers or anything on the shrink-shrinkwrap, or do they keep the box clean? Also, is the packaging pretty good to prevent any damage to the fancy Apple box? Thanks!
Wow, that is absolutely unacceptable. Very disappointing. I hope people have wrote Legere about that!
Got a tracking number today. Sadly, just says label created. I was hoping since the T-Mobile website said shipped last night I'd have it today. Dang.
Can anyone tell me if the T Mobile version comes unlocked? I've gotten conflicting stories from T-Mobile and Apple. I want to use a Straight Talk sim but was told that T Mobile version is locked even if not activated. Does anyone know for sure if T Mobile's version is unlocked?
My IPhone is out for delivery!!! I have such a lady boner.
It may depend if you buy it from Apple (unlocked), versus T-Mobile (locked)? Someone else may clarify, but that was my interpretation, not positive.
No stickers on the shrink wrap. Looks great. The packaging is like a double bag. It doesn't look super durable but my box came completely unharmed.
I can assure you if you buy it from t-mobile store or the company itself it will be locked.. Not sure the apple version of t-mobile i order one still hasnt ship so

3D Touch is just like Force Touch. When I first did it, I thought my screen was broken.
I will be buying straight from Apple. I know that T Mobile will sell it locked but thought if I ordered from Apple it would be unlocked. That's how it was last year with the 6.
I'm not a fan of things shipped in bags, but I'm glad to hear your iPhone showed up in good condition. My fingers are crossed that mine arrives ding-free too!

1 piece of paper explaining the buttons, some legal stuff and the stickers. That's it.
