I didn't see any threads, for T-Mo. So I decided to create one. (If I missed another thread, admins plz delete this one)

I'm planing to get the 6S+ in SG 128GB, hopefully I will stay awake til 3am EST.
Remember guys that Pre-Orders will be available online AFTER 6am EST, so if you are planing to get it at 3am EST the only way is to call in.

Are you going to pre-order? From Jump! 1/2 or switching to Jump on Demand!? What color and size?

***EDIT 9/19/15***

Please add your pre-order information HERE. Help us track more efficiently T-Mobile orders

Gonna use one of my JOD upgrades to get the 6s Plus, I think. But one thing confused me... Will they mail me my phone? And then what do I do with my current phone?

You have to return your current phone to a T-Mo store, I believe you have 30 days to do so, after delivery of the new unit.

I talked to a T Mo associate today and they confirmed the phone will be mailed to your residence.

So just to confirm, if I am already a T Mo customer and not a JOD customer I can sign up, preorder iPhone 6S, receive it, and then sell my current iPhone? (Which I bought full price)

I believe you have until 12/31/15 to trade in your iPhone 6/6 Plus for the 6S/6S Plus

I, myself, am gonna wait this one out (maybe until November or December) to get it.

You guys are right. This from the official FAQs:

If you already have a phone with JUMP! On Demand, once you receive your new phone, just be sure to come to a T-Mobile store to turn in your previous phone. Otherwise, you’ll have two phone payments until you return the previous phone. JUMP! On Demand returns can only be done in a T-Mobile store.

This is correct.

I have the same question. I'm currently a TMo customer and outright own my phone. Can I still do the phone preorder if I'm not currently a JOD customer? Thanks.

Most answers can be found here: http://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news/t-mobile-links/faq-upgrading-your-phone-with-jump-and-jump-on-demand.htm

Q: Why can’t I get a phone with JUMP! On Demand on T-Mobile.com?
  • JUMP! On Demand is currently only available in stores and on the phone. We’ll bring it online soon, but it is not quite ready and we want you to have the best possible experience getting your new phone.
  • We can help customers place their JUMP! On Demand orders – at 1-800-937-8997 starting at 12:01 am PT on September 12 or in a T-Mobile retail store.

You will be able to order it, it's just the JUMP! orders will be prioritized (shipped first) over non Jump orders that are placed within the first 48hrs. I suggest Pre-Order thru Apple if you don't plan to get an EIP.

Can't Wait.
Me neither. I am planning on going into my t Mobile store tomorrow morning to Jump On Demand a 6s+. I preordered a 6 last year from tmobile and the whole thing was such a cluster. I did end up receiving it on launch day but I am totally prepared this year for a wait and I think that's ok.

I'm so excited, I have the regular jump (where they pay off the rest of the phone without paying half) , and switching from my galaxy s6 edge plus

I also have the original JUMP!, but I will be switching to the Jump On Demand! when I place my order today, as I have no interest of owning the phone and it will also lower my monthly bill around $23. I think is a pretty good deal for me since I can switch phones up to 3 times a year and pay nothing upfront. Win win for me.

Ahh nice! I usually just switch from iphone to Android or vice versa. I'm liking jump on demand, but I'm liking making 1 payment on my phone and tmobile paying the rest lol

I think jump on demand is perfect for someone like me who likes to get the new iPhone every year. I did the promo this summer where I got a 6+, gave my wife the 6, and traded in a palm pre to get their promo pricing of 19 a month for the plus. I'm excited now to flip the 6+ to a 6s+, which btw sounds ridiculous when you say it aloud. ;)

There's a change to the preorder info on their site. Says call number at 12:01am PST. Doesn't look like their online ordering will be up like last time.
1-800-937-8997 (tmobile.com)

Jesus christ do I hope this isn't the **** show it was last time around lol.

And before the battle happens between jump/nonjump they already clarified.
"Yes! T-Mobile’s JUMP! and JUMP! On Demand customers get priority access to iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. When JUMP! and JUMP! On Demand customers pre-order in the first 48 hours, their order goes to the front of the line and will be among the first to ship beginning September 25. TO PRE-ORDER PRIORITY ACCESS IPHONE 6S OR IPHONE 6S PLUS WITH JUMP! OR JUMP ON DEMAND, CALL 800-937-8997 BETWEEN 12:01AM, SEPTEMBER 12, AND 11:59PM, SEPTEMBER 14, 2015."

This was my plan however i went to a T-Mo store and they said that if you have a balance on the phone you would have to pay the difference between the amount owed and the trade in amount. So if you have a balance on your EIP this might not make it the cheaper route.

I will most likely use my Jump (V1) and get the SG 6+ 128gb

Ahh thats why I didn't switch, I couldn't figure out why I didn't do it lol.

Howdy folks. It's great to have a thread for all of us to gather in! I'm an AT&T customer that's switching to T-Mobile. I saw John Legere's videos just two days ago and was amazed by what he is doing. I said what the heck and decided to dissect every last detail and carefully balance the numbers. Bottom line is I'm saving a lot of money by switching to T-Mobile and I'm getting far more benefits for doing so.

I got two temporary SIMs from the T-Mo store tonight and signed up for service, so I'm all ready to go the moment the telephone lines open up for pre-orders. Now let's all keep our fingers crossed that we don't have to endure ultra-long wait times on the phone!

Cheers and best of luck to everyone tonight...

just got off a chat with a tmo rep- she said per the last update- you would be able to upgrade on the t-mo website starting "roughly at 6am pt"

that being said, i think i will just pre-order tonight and not use my jump. I will instead order it using another EIP on my line and then sell my current phone.

Pre-ordering with EIP. iPhone 6S 64GB Rose Gold. Was gonna go for the 128GB but I'll most likely update next year. Can't wait.

Gonna call in and pre-order 128GB Gold 6S+ tonight/morning. Hopefully there are not too many hiccups. 2hrs and 50mins to go!
