So another guy posted this on another forum:

Who are these execs and how people talk to them and how do they have this info about our phones?

"So regular JUMP customer tried ordering at 3:01AM on release date with ZERO luck thanks to their amazing systems when it comes to JUMP and JOD, ended up finally ordering a matte black 7+ 128g at around 7:45AM got my emails and text messages immediately after and received an estimated ship date of 9/27-10/10...got a call today from the executive office spoke to nice woman who informed me that my phone is ready to "drop" which according to her means that it is in the warehouse and ready to ship and that I should see some movement on my status tomorrow. Not sure how true this is but maybe it means that everyone else who's waiting on 7+ blacks will get some info tomorrow too."

Well, there are no more planes en-route and the next couple of planes are departing in 5-7 hours which would mean that it will be a while they get here to Louisville and get assigned. So the ones that landed yesterday got to have most of our orders here - at least up until October first week delivery date. If I don't see a massive update tomorrow, I would definitely be disappointed.

I hope so... it crazy because I could have written this post. Same exact thing happened to me. Tried ordering the 7+ MB at 3am est and the order didn't go through. I didn't find this out until I called in later at 7 am due to not receiving the email. So I did get to reorder it and received the email right away. Got the same date of 9/27-10/10. Haven't been charged and is still being processed. So hopefully this is true because I can't be that far after you...

When you search using "reference" with UPS, do you enter your order number or the phone number associated with the order?

Thank you.

Contacted the Executive Support team over the weekend.

Talked to Carla this morning and she agreed to put my order into the priority queue because of the payment mishap. (Essentially, prioritize it as though it were placed at 3AM when it should have been since they screwed up)

However, she did say that they had been expecting a shipment of iPhone 7 plusses from the last delivery, but that they didn't get any in the higher capacity versions. So basically she couldn't give me any expectation except that my order would be joining the many people in the first wave queue.

Apple really screwed over T-mobile with this launch.

They were supposed to "prioritize" my order too after the JOD disaster. Still haven't seen anything happen, and others have gotten what I ordered (matte black 32GB plus) so don't count on it...... I think they are making it up.

This is probably not the right thread. I tried looking around and couldn't find anything so I apologize if this is a duplicate. Previously, as IPhone 6s Plus, I was able to get the phone from the Apple Store and get EIP. Now T-Mobile and Apple tell me that we have to get the phone outright from the Apple Store. This is a bummer. Has anyone been able to get it done this way?

T-Mobile does not offer EIP at the Apple Store. (I don't ever remember them offering it) The only way to buy an iPhone from T-Mobile from Apple is unlocked and outright.
