Has anyone received their ETF's from T-Mobile? I just submitted all of my statements and wanted to know if others have already received it and how long it took to get it. And did they reimburse the taxes as well or just the ETF that's listed on the statement? Thanks for the help.

I thought you had to wait 8 weeks for it?

It actually takes much much longer than 8 weeks. I submitted mine on February 13th and just got a text 2 days ago saying they approved the ETF and I now have to wait 8 weeks. All in all expect a minimum of 10-11 weeks. Personally, I would have preferred to just have a credit on my account that immediately takes effect.

Looks like t-mobile usa essentially wants at least 4 months of service (just in case someone wants to bail on them).

Smart thinking of them.

Yes. By then, it's to late for you to go back to the original carrier and get your ETF reversed.

For those of you who got confirmation on the ETF, will t-Mobile pay the taxes and surcharges as well? Freaking AT&T charges 11% of the ETF in surcharges. Taxes I understand but surcharges? So annoying.

they will not pay the taxes. It is strictly for the ETF amount. Also, I retract my previous statement. My email says it will arrive in 2-3 weeks, so 8 weeks in total seems pretty accurate. They just take about 3 weeks to approve the submission.

For Tmobile to pay the ETF, can we NOT have to turn in our current phone? I'd rather keep using my awesome verizon 5S.

Trade in any phone on their list and keep your 5S to the side. You will still have to buy a phone from them, but at least you won't have to buy another 5S - you can buy a cheap one and swap SIMs into your 5S later.

For those of you who actually received your ETF reimbursements, what was the actual duration from when you submitted? I just submitted mine online today. Thanks!

I submitted mine on Monday- 4/7. I understand it takes a while to process, but did anyone have to make payment arrangements with their previous carrier?

There is no payment arrangement to be made. You are going to have to pay out of pocket the ETF with your old carrier. I personally would rather them just give me a bill credit for the ETF since the previous carrier bill will be due beforehand.

2/13 I submitted my ETF and 3/14 I had the prepaid card in my hands.

How can you make a payment arrangement with a company you are no longer doing business with and which you are breaking a contract?

I think he was hoping to actually pay the ETF with the prepaid card. The problem is the bill will always be due before your prepaid card arrives.

Anyone get theirs yet? I switched out my last 2 lines from Verizon almost two months ago and almost forgot about the ETF reimbursement haha. Just submitted it online 5/5. Just wondering how long it took for people to actually get paid.
