Saying "oh yeah? If we suck so much why you want to buy us?" Is a horrible response strategy. AT&T does not even need to respond, as they would just say they wanted to buy you to properly utilize your assets.

I like it. Little T-Mobile's got fight in them. Good for T-Mobile.

----------

AT&T straight up said they wanted them for the spectrum.

Doesn't matter. The average consumer doesn't know that.

They won´t respond, because they know it´s true.

The fact that AT&T already responded gives T-mobile more credibility. The fact that AT&T is acting like they are worried about somebody other than Verizon gives T-mobile even more credibility. AT&T should of just ignored the new T-mobile CEO. Now it can only help T-mobile. I see no way this helps AT&T in any meaningful way.

switched officially on my iphone 5 a month ago, tmobile is fantastic, no drops, their network is by far faster where i live than ATT (their "4g" or LTE is not even close to Tmobile opened up 1900 band "3g") and was with att pretty much since iphone 1 came out 2007. Truly ulimited tmobile is the real deal, im stoked

Lol. This ad is great. Just too long....

agreed, they definitely should have added, "oh by the way, does att have truly unlimited data...no, not anymore"

I guess Verizon does not count? they are as guilty as the others in trash avertizing
Yes, I also don´t like it, but since AT&T started that stupid advert, T-Mobile should react to it, because if it´s that obvious that AT&T wanted to buy T-Mobile, that now backfired hard. It just makes AT&T look silly.

Companies also act differently in different countries all over the world. In Germany there are laws against such "trash advertizing" practices. You´re allowed to hint at something or a competitor with e.x. the use of colors in the ad, but saying/writing it out loud is forbidden.

Apparently T-Mobile has enough customers who use that "crappy" network that AT&T wants to buy them. Also it looks like AT&T needs to buy customers instead of letting them freely choose their network.

Yup, AT&T is just dyin' to get those customers.

T-M has been in the dumper for years. They are hanging on by a thread. Only their offering the iPhone will help them hang on longer.

I love the comments from folks stating that "if they had better coverage, I'd switch". Coverage IS what is mainly abut. Great service (and I say that with a wink) with tiny service areas is worthless.

When someone can offer me the gobs of coverage I get with AT&T, I'll consider switching, but T-Mobile will never be it because they'll never have the best coverage out of all the carriers.

This is hilarious.

As much as I hate AT&T and don't have any reason to care about TMobile, I like seeing two huge giant corporations act like little schoolchildren taunting each other on the playground.

It's good medicine for people who mistakenly regard big companies with reverence.

I think they wanted T-Mobile because of their existing LTE network more so than the customers. At least that's how I remember it.

T-Mobile doesn't have any existing LTE network. They just rolled out LTE in their first market last month although it isn't available to customers yet. What AT&T wanted was their spectrum.

T-Mobile>AT&T any day

Specially with T-Mobiles $30 Walmart plan

100 talk minutes & unlimited txt & 5GB of unlimited 4G data

Perfect for my iPhone 4S

Can't beat that with any other carrier. You'd be paying more than $60+ for that same Plan!

I don't know either of these companies but if I moved to the US and had to choose between these two phone companies I would go with T-Mobile just because AT&T seem to be nasty. Reminds me of Samsung Ads

Truly unlimited data would be great but it doesn't work out. You either get overage charges from the likes of AT&T or your "unlimited" frmm Tmobile is crippled because of network congestion. And in the end, better area coverage trumps all. What good is a phone that only works great where you live? I travel a lot. AT&T lets me go virtually anywhere in the US and I'm in coverage.

Actually all companies here are at fault, saying they have a 4G network, when by strict definition, they don't. Even AT&T is trying to conceal LTE as 4G.

I'm sure Verizon is laughing their head off. They can easily say they have the largest LTE network, and squash both. If they said they had a 4G network, then they're just lying.

Get it over 100 MBs and then you can say 4G. Why mess with the consumer's head? Because T-Mobile started saying they have a 4G network.

Oh wow, I love these ads.
And to AT&T:
