Of course they "can" be, but they are often not.

I'm an internet retailer and I have to deal with this all the time. I go through this at least once a week with customers who use debit cards, and I can tell you from 15 years of experience that these holds often take 10 days or more to be released. I have to waste my time explaining to people that there is nothing I can do to release the funds back to them quicker and they need to call their bank.

That again is not the banks fault. Most of the time it's the provider for your merchant services that is sitting on it.

I got mine today.
Silver 64GB.
My guess is these are previously refurbished phones?

It's pretty cool I guess but nothing really stands out after having an iPhone 4 2010-2013.

The text in Safari is too small though, hard to read anything without zooming.

This is how you finance at an Apple Store: http://store.apple.com/us/instant_credit_24

I know it says "for a limited time" but they've had this offer since last April so i'm thinking it's not as limited as they make it seem.

Thanks! That's pretty awesome!

I always though Apple should do something like this to counter the fact that carrier subsidies are going away.

I'm 50/50 on whether or not I'm going to switch. T-Mobile is hit or miss in my house and ATT is pretty solid. I don't go back to the office until Monday so I'll probably make a decision then.

Is this true? What do you mean from what you know?

+1 I couldn't find anything confirming this. Please explain

I don't think you're right. Maybe about the ear pods and someone confirm if they're all refurbs but you cannot be right about the charger. For what apple charges for that crap, I doubt you'll be able to keep it.

Can you link to where you saw this on T-mobile's site?

Definitely refurbished with people getting different colors and capacities. Also upon inspection scratches that wouldn't be on a new unit are there and my ear buds had ear wax on them

Why so soon?
If you just got it to test drive T-Mobile's network, there's not really much point in hanging on to the phone once you notice that you don't get any signal. Wish they had this program earlier. Could've saved myself an iPhone 5C purchase.

After trying it out for a day, I realized that it didn't have the coverage AT&T had in my area. I didn't want to take a chance of damaging it etc. so I returned it to T-Mobile.
I want to try it out as well but have had a bad experience in the past with returning a phone to tmobile. I just don't trust them.

They put me through the ringer on a defective 5c I tried to exchange. The phone would die in about an hour. Turned off by itself, frustrated me half to death. They would only exchange for same color but didn't have any. Told me they'd have it the next day but I had to work. Even asked if I could pick it up from another store? No. Can I just get a different color? No. So I'm supposed to stay with a defective phone? Yeah, for now.

Needless to say after my guy (A police officer) got a hold of them, they returned it and waived the $50 restocking fee. Then went down to the Apple Store and just bought one straight out....

I can foresee problems with missing accessories, phone damage from previous owners, etcetera causing return issues.

In my brothers case he returned a defective phone in exchange for a refurbished one. They charged him for the returned phone claiming he didn't return It. luckily for him he mailed it with signature confirmation. If he had not he would have been out $500 because of their bloody mistake.

Just returned my test phone to T-mobile. The clerk said "I think you get to keep the accessories". I said "that would be nice" and she just handed them to me. They were brand new too.

So, good for me!
