I have a love hate relationship with t-mobile 200mb for life plan. We had it on my wife’s ipad, and it was great. We usually have our wifi connection when we are home and if for some reason she left it at a friends house we could use find a phone to locate it. We also could get a map if we needed to when we were in the car. Someone also mentioned if it is stolen it is also a good way to locate it. We also found that sometimes t-mobile had a cell signal when our AT&T didn’t. We also travel in our RV and we would add the 5gig plan for 150 days and that was also a great value. But for some reason t-mobile stopped working on her ipad. I have spent countless hours on the phone support with little success. I’m also not pleased with the scripts that I have to go through each time before I actually get to someone that might be able to help. So far no success. I finally was concerned that her ipad might be the problem so I activated one month on AT&T. ($20 for a month.) Well that works great so it isn’t an ipad problem.
I also have an ipad that the 200 mb worked great and i could add the 5 gig for 150 days when we were traveling. Well now I have added the 5 gig plan, it shows that it is active but it doesn’t work. I also have tried t-mobile support and it has not helped yet. My 200 mb plan should renew in 10 days I will see if it does.
T-Mobile is great when it works and frustrating when it doesn’t.
