I have wanted to jump to TMob for a while, but network coverage and strength has always been a concern. I am less worried about coverage in rural areas. I live in the city and really do not go rural very often. Has Tmob improved at least to the ATT level (which is what I am on)? If so, I may switch.
I had tmobile for about a year (dropped them in August 2015) and hated it. I live in a big city and when the reception is good, it is great but that is rare. If you are in a building, forget it. The service is useless.

Guess I switched a month too early from ATT to T-Mobile .... no shares for me :-( .... but I happily take all the other free stuff (on top of the money I save anyway through T-Mobile)

... and YES, I have good reception wherever I go (and YES I am aware there are areas that don't have good reception with T-Mobile ... but even with ATT I found spots where there was no reception, probably less the T-Mobile, but still)

Existing costumers get a share too.

Screw the haters, I'm ecstatic about being a T-Mobile customer. Low bills, no crappy customer service, and constant new perks. LTE speeds are amazing, with coverage being my only complaint. However, my family has 6S's and they never lose coverage thanks to, I'm assuming, band 12.

Just wondering what phone you had?

Except it's really not. O2 Priority gives you discounts. T-Mobile Tuesdays gives you free pizza (Dominos), free movie ticket, and free ice cream. Every single Tuesday. And loads of other things.

Completely free. No discount. No 'buy one, get one free'. No 'get an extra topping'. Completely free.

That's a big difference.

I've had loads of completely free perks from O2 Priority.

Anyone know how T-Mobile Tuesdays works for family plans? Does every line get the free gifts, or does it go only to the primary account holder?

I know that the share of stock only goes to the primary account holder.

I believe all the lines get the free stuff. Its just the stock which is limited to the primary.

I have a T-Mobile voice plan from
An mvno and no T-Mobile account so I don't think I'll get either offer. I get all the binge on benefits from this mvno

I have a T-Mobile post paid iPad account that belongs to me. But the stock option requires a voice plan.

what mvno has zero rated binge on? i thought mvno's just had the compression feature but the data is not zero rated for usage

I'll join in with the other commenters in saying I've had a great experience on T-Mobile. Coverage and data speeds have been excellent for me here in southern California (on iPhone 6s). And all the perks certainly help too - music freedom and binge on are awesome.

How's coverage at Disneyland? I am from southern NH, but we go to Disneyland at least once a year, and that is where I use data the most (and one of the reasons I am looking to switch from Verizon - between Disneyland and my YouTube addicted daughter, I've recently had to start playing the "shutting your cellular data off on every app until the end of the month" game with her.)

Was in Boston earlier last month....gf was getting slow connection on her Verizon 6+ in our hotel room so she used the hotspot off my TMobile 6S....gota love T Mobile!!

Great to hear. Did you have any experience north of Boston?

Looks like me (6s) and my daughter (SE) would see a benefit. My other daughter is likely getting a 6s (or 7) in Aug/Sept. My wife and mom? Well, they each average tiny amounts of data as it is, so they're 5s/6 will be good enough. HA

Nope. In San Francisco half the airport you can't even use T-Mobile. I have both TMO and ATT (I do a lot of international travel so for that the free intl data on t-mo is amazing) but their coverage is still bad bad bad. i know they're slowly improving, but they are years behind ATT still in almost everywhere I've had my phone. Funny how my TMO phone works with 5 bars and decent data speed in a remote town in Cambodia, but not in several major US airports, and in many blocks in San Francisco, New York, LA, etc. LOL

There is much to like about T-Mobile, but their coverage isn't one of them. I switched to T-Mobile and relunctantly ran back to AT&T after about a month. There were occasional dead spots in DFW and when I had to take a trip to Louisiana it was really bad. I kept dropping so many calls on the road and encountered way too many dead zones in areas where their map indicated coverage.

Simply put, there is a reason they have lower prices and are offering so many deals for folks to switch: they cannot compete on coverage area and reliability against AT&T and Verizon. In densely populated metropolitan areas, they are pretty good. Otherwise, one is probably better served going with AT&T or Verizon. Of course, what one values the most will be up to each individual.

Looks very interesting. Can't wait to give it a try. I wonder when the app will become active.

I'm so glad I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. I have no issues with there service at all and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

NOT Working on iOS for me I get this from your link

I'm getting the same thing.

I'm seriously starting to consider moving from AT&T.

Don't do it. It's a trap.

This is either desperation or a new business model. Don't know which yet.

I'm going to vote desperation as I have been for awhile. Any person who thinks TMO can continue these freebies and gimmicks forever and adding more non stop is kidding themselves.

This is basically bribery in the form of buying customer loyalty and trying more to sway new customers. These brands probably also hoped on in the hopes of more business their way ( Wendys, Dominos which isn't the best pizza anyway , and whoever else they get onboard )

1) Still not seeing the new app in the App Store.

2) We did the T-Mobile Test Drive (unfortunately, phased out in September) here in Houston, and the coverage was comparable to AT&T (with whom I had been since they bought Cingular): some spots better, some spots worse, but overall usable the vast majority of places where we spend time. Coverage was spottier on the road between here in Austin (where the majority of my non-Houston clients are), but we are saving almost 40% over our previous AT&T bills with faster speeds and no data caps on our phones (I was grandfathered on AT&T's unlimited iPhone data, but my wife was not) and 5x the data on my wife's iPad. We are tickled pink (sorry).

It's quite a simple way of gaining new subscribers to continue their forward momentum. Win-win for all parties involved. All these freebies and "gimmicks" have certainly been working.

Interesting considering AT&T's announcement (for "summer 2016" implementation) of a wireless customer loyalty program that's similar in many ways (though still lacking in comparison).

John actually called AT&T out on this. He stated that companies are now replying to rumors. T-Mobile started this whole thing WAY before AT&T. AT&T then responded from a then rumor.
