Tabbed Web Browsing- Yes or No?

This forum is currently in tab 3 of 7. So yes i use it. Not sure how i survived with out it.

can't stand tabs most of the time. it's hard to keep track of what sites you are on because you can only see one site at one time with tabbed browsing, and i sometimes like to have more than one page active at a time, where in tabbed browsing, they all go kaput. i use f10 to look at my open windows in safari. it's messier, but it keeps me more aware of what i have open.

Try SafariStand. Has a neat sidebar feature that shows a thumbnail of each of your tabs.

nah, i like to see all my pages in front of me, personal preference, and tabs sometimes makes it easier to get lost.

I always use tabs, i dont know how i used to use the internet without it. When i have two important things to attend to i normally open another window just for that task. I sometimes put browsers behind each other so that i can watch a youtube video while checking my mail and so on.

I use it now, I wasn't too keen originally but I've grown to like it. The draggable tabs in Safari 3 are fantastic.

P.S. Raggedjimmi, I love that aspect of Safari 3, but have to resort to using Saft in Safari 2 for the dragging of tabs because Safari 3 is so dang buggy ATM.

I just open a new window. Never used a tab in my life.

I love tabs. I typically have 5 or 6 pages open. I also use new windows for things I know I will browse quickly and then close. I do wish Safari had the Expose-like feature to view all open tabs like IE 7 does.

I only started using Firefox on my PC in 2004. How I could use IE 5/6 whatever it was before that is beyond me.

tabs... I've got lots of them (when browsing... don't know where they go when my PB is off), almost always. I don't think I could go back to not having tabs

Tabbed browsing all the way for me.

I'm part of a browser based Windows application dev team at work, and it's so much more convenient having tabs in one browser especially when I have other windows open.

Generally, I use tabbed browsing now, though I fought it for a while. I still it more efficient to use an extra window under certain circumstances.
