I don't think it's a bad look at all, kind of like it actually...

It just needs the words "military" and "tactical" removed from the description. As someone who may just have a tiny amount of experience in this arena I assure you that it looks nothing like something worn by those in the military.

I think he was speaking to the color palette. I agree that the style of watch looks nothing like a military and/or tactical watch.

The color palette is similar to some that would qualify, though.

well, yea, its not military per se, but its the closest thing they offer...

kinda a 5.11 look...

The leather loop is horrible and a waste of money, I bet it cost apple 4 dollars to make

Sadly that's not a tacticle military look, try non reflective black watch, with a non reflective band.

Your design looks like a sports watch, to me.

man! these people are brutal. Apparently it's cool now to be an arrogant a'hole anytime someone puts "apple" in front of something.

The watch you made looks cool. Your description/title made me click, guessing which combo you were going with while the page loaded. I guess people believe polished SS is a better choice for the description? lol They act like you're Apple with how quick they are to rip you apart! Someone even said try non reflective black watch? The op's looked space gray to me, meaning the only non shiny "black"? shrugs.

I've been thinking about going with the Black SS model, but I like the versatility of the standard SS. I hope you enjoy your watch!

LOL. No they use tritium capsules that emit their own light for like 20 years. They are tough and will take a beating. Unlike the AW they are waterproof. The AW looks to pretty/fragile to be tactical hardware.

Half life of Tritium is 12 years. And not sure how much longer the military will continue to use Tritium in military gear, since it is a radioactive isotope. Kind of like not using depleted uranium rounds anymore.

It's a bit of a funny concept really.

I can picture the scene now, 5 highly training special forces guys behind enemy lines with orders to attack at 05:15. The leader takes a glance at his.....................darn. I forgot we've deployed for more than 30 hours, who brought a charger and battery pack?
