Half life of Tritium is 12 years. And not sure how much longer the military will continue to use Tritium in military gear, since it is a radioactive isotope. Kind of like not using depleted uranium rounds anymore.

So it will only be half as bright in 12 years. . . . . Good for me.

I am sure the EPA is right up the butts of the military and will force them to use an Apple Watch.
