Taiwanese Star Jimmy Lin Gaining Attention for iPhone 6 Mockup Photos

Wouldn't it be great if this design turned out to be a complete red herring.

All these physical mockups seem to be based on a supposed leaked design, but that design might have been fake.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who design phones/camera's/cases etc who have the software/skills to do this. Either as a joke, or as an attempt to hurt Apple's image.

That said, it's probably real. I'm just hoping there is something like a sapphire coating that covers back and bonds to those strips (antenna bands), so they aren't visible on the final device.

Apple did just patent something similar...

The rounded edges on the front glass looks to Samsung for me. Also, power button is directly across from the volume rocker. People will be constantly changing their volume when hitting the power button. This phone is starting to look like an Appdroid. Yuck

These are mock ups? Weird I thought this was a leak. Seeing they're coming from the same guy who leaked iPhone 5 and iPad mini.

Probably won't be in the final version. This is a earlier build thus won't look as nice as the consumer version.

I agree. I don't like how thick the white bands are on the back of the device. I can't see Apple doing that.

You know the scary this is...these "mockups" may even be true. It's happened in the past where we've seen leaks pretty close to the iPhone 4 and even what the i5 looked like and it was pretty much accurate. The only think I don't like about the i6 "mockup" is the those white hideous lines in the back.
Not sure what Apple has in mind, I hope they continue on the elegant design of the i5 and not ruin the 6.

These things don't even qualify as rumors, they are just made up things without any connection to apple.

Can Apple really be that naive or stupid to think that elongating the iPhone will make it more useful or appealing ? The only way to really view video, documents, photos, or work on creating original docs is to have a screen that is wider. Samsung and others got it right. What the hell is wrong with Apple?
