I used a tanning bed before my wedding back in october, but I don't think I'll go back again, really no need to.

Really, you will be fine if you follow the recommendations.

I would also use a Capsule as you stand up and tan your whole body simultaneously.

You start off with the suggested 3-5 minutes, have a day off, then 4-5 minutes, day off, etc. etc. until you are tanning at 10 minutes a piece. Once you get to 10 minutes you should have relatively tanned skin. You then go back once a week to keep tan good (in case you get absolutely no light at all).

But after 2 months, stop going. You shouldn't expose yourself for a long period of time, as you are putting your skin at huge risk, as people have no doubt mentioned.

EDIT: sorry to revive a slightly old thread.

I am frequently going to tanning salon to get a tan in order to absorb the benefits or advantage of it. They protect me from the sun, and I feel to look better. Yes I agree to tan lotion is more expensive, and I am not much prepared with it.

So who here uses tanning beds to get their glow on? No use in reflecting all of nature's light when you step outside.

I'll start off and say that I do, but I don't buy into the expensive lotions that are sold. Ripoffs!

Not me. I wouldn't waste my money on something like that.

I use them in moderation. Once I have some color then I'm finished for the year. I'd say five times per year is my max.
