No, BB iP7/7+ are all the universal model.

Are you on AT&T? Did you do the activation using an active Verizon SIM or was it an inactive Verizon SIM?

I'm actually on T-Mobile, but I have an inactive VZ sim from when I was with VZ.

So the SIM card used is an inactive VZ sim.

I found a JB 7+ at a local Target but they wont sell it to me at full price.

Target called me the other day saying my iPhone was ready to get picked up. MB 7 plus 128 gb for At&T, I had put my name down On a list but told them I had already picked up one at an Apple Store. So yea don't forget to check and call target as well for stock.

IMO Target is not the best place to buy an iPhone 7. The prices are higher than the price Apple store sells them (they got to make money somehow), but Target is at least cheaper than BestBuy's uncharge. Apple store is the best place to buy an iPhone 7. I scored a 256 JB 7+ A1661 Verizon iPhone with walk-in reservation for a re-opened Apple store on 9/24. I don't have to worry about this sim activation lock issue with this paid-in-full purchase.

To each their own I guess. I used my red card and saved 5%. Takes it to regular price at the Apple Store.

I was able to walk into a target and get this. Not bad.

So the CAN sell at full price if they are willing? I was told they couldn't sell it outright and had to tie it to an account.

Yes, I bought mine outright... No questions ask.

If anything she said it made her life easier since she didn't need to activate it for me.
