Black Friday, a major shopping holiday in the United States, is quickly approaching and deals have begun to leak out. Last week, Sam's Club's Black Friday deals were revealed, and this morning, Target's Black Friday Ad was leaked.

Target is offering quite a few deals on iPads, providing hefty gift cards with purchase. The company will give $100 gift cards to customers who purchase a 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, or iPad Air, which are priced at $299, $399, and $399, respectively. Other colors and capacities are also included in the deal.

With the purchase of a $249 original iPad mini, Target is offering a $80 gift card, and with the purchase of a 16GB Wi-Fi only $499 iPad Air 2, Target is offering a $140 gift card. Though the iPad Air 2 is regularly priced, a $140 gift card is the best deal we've seen on the tablet yet.

Target will also be offering a $30 gift card with the purchase of any iPhone 6 (priced at $179.99) or iPhone 5s (priced at $79) with a qualifying two-year contract, and customers who buy a 32GB iPod touch can get a $50 gift card.

Other deals include $11 off the Apple TV, dropping the price to $89, and iTunes gift cards for buy one get one 30 percent off. Target will also offer the Beats by Dre Solo HD headphones for $97, down from $170, and the Beats by Dre Studio headphones for $250, $50 off their regular price.

Target will open its doors at 6 PM on Thanksgiving Day, and it's likely popular deals will go quickly. Customers with a Target REDcard can save an extra 5 percent on their purchases.

I could just return the 64 GB Air 2 one I got last week and trade it in for a new one if they want to give me a $140 gift card with it...

Plus I bought a 6 and 6+ which will arrive on Wednesday... how much of a giftcard can I get for those? I guess just $30... not worth the trouble...

Unlikely, but I hope I'm not scheduled for thanksgiving. They're opening at 6 pm

I'm going to be away with my family anyway so I won't be able to work.

1) $140 is not worth standing in line and dealing with people acting like animals at these stores. I will do my shopping online.

2) You might not care about spending Thanksgiving with your family, but there's a lot of employees that do and get stuck working. These stores should be closed. It's called black FRIDAY for a reason.

If people don't want to work these days then they should go look for a better job.

On point #1 I totally agree with you...

Point #2 I gotta say going to work at 6pm after you have hung out with family and getting holiday pay is pretty sweet, especially with Christmas around the corner.

Most target workers, like myself, are college students working part-time. A little difficult to find a well paying full time job in that situation.

Try to be a little more open minded next time you post.

You want a job you suck it up. I did this for many years, not because I wanted to but because that was the job.

Too bad Target doesn't have any decent size cellular Air 2's. If they did I'd cancel my AT&T order and get one from them.

They don't sell LTE 128GB?

Target's website has said "Out of stock" since launch. I also spoke to the cell phone agent their and he told me they probably won't get the 128GB cellular in store. He thought the 64GB would be more likely.

Guys. Just like last year. Look at the ad very closely. These $140 gift cards are not door busters.

You can order them online. Target will get you a digital coupon to use the $140 online or in its retail store.

I purchased a 32gb iPad air in retail store last Black Friday 2013. Got $100 gift card. But the store didn't carry 64gb model. So I found out I could order them online. So I got same $100 gift card with online order as well.

So this 2014 $140 gift card is available online. Hopefully they will have 64gb cellular model for online order.

What makes it worse is those that have to travel home to see their family. You can't travel hours away if you have to work on Thanksgiving.

I'm fine with black Friday sales, but I don't understand why they need to be done on a holiday. Personally I haven't worked or shopped at them before and have no plans to in the near future, but it makes me sad to see corporations putting sales ahead of employee benefits by taking away these employees holiday time.

That's the situation I'm in. My family will be away, I don't have my license yet, and the buses aren't running so I'll have no choice but to call out (if they even schedule me. I made it very clear it won't work out.)

But I agree, I have no problem with Black Friday. But thanksgiving should be a day to spend time with their families. I'm sure the Target CEO will be with his family while their employees will be working Thanksgiving night through the next morning.

Wasn't last year's sale $100 off regular iPad Air price + $100 Gift card? My target card account shows I paid $499 for iPad Air 32GB instead of $599 and got a $100 gift card.

I'm not able to go to the store this year when doors open. I hope the promotion will be online either to order/ship or order/pick up in store.

Anyone know what time online the Gift Card be available on Thanksgiving?

I bought my mom her iPad Air 32GB last year at Target Black Friday.

Now it's my turn to upgrade my iPad 3 64GB to an iPad Air 2 64GB.

No. Last year was $100 gift card only.

How they calculated it was they "charged you $100 for the gift card". So a 32gb would show up as $499 plus $100 gift card on the receipt.

Quick question: Can Target gift cards be used to purchase other gift cards, such as Amazon gift cards or Xbox gift cards for purchase of digital Xbox One games?
