Or it could just turn out that Apple again was conservative in their fine print warnings about the micro abrasions in Jet Black and that simply just freaked everyone out. Nobody actually knows how sensitive the Jet Black is, it could be bad or it could actually be pretty tough.

Would be pretty ridiculous to assume Apple didn't do any durability testing on Jet Black.

I ordered the matte black, I have never left my phone naked with no case. I am halfway contemplating going naked with my 7+....I am on the IUP so no need to keep it super pristine for sale. In the past (back in the subsidy days) I used to sell each year. The only stipulation with the IUP is you need to return a working, decent shape phone.

I am paranoid about breaking it though! Those who don't use cases, how do they hold up?? I am super good with my phones....but there are those times that it can get dropped o_O

Dam, you rich. You should just donate your phone to charity.

Haha not really.. I am trading in my 6 with ATT's free iPhone 7 promo, should still have 350 left next year on my phone and I know I can get way more than that selling the 7 next year.. more than I could get selling my 6 in another year.

Free upgrade this year and next year essentially.

Actually in The Verge review, he did mention his unit already got scratches easily

I'm going to the Apple Store on Friday. If I can find a 128 or 256GB, I'm cancelling the Jet Black. Not waiting until October if I don't have to.
