lol.. so that's how employees celebrate..

"- Laptop automatically turns on when you open it regardless of pressing power button"

Seriously ? so what's the "power" button for then?
There is no power button. There's a sleep/wake touchID, but there is no power button.

I'd expect trimforce would still be an option for third party SSD vendors.
- It would. But it depends on the design chosen by the manufacturer. The only third party option that exists for Mid 2013 to Mid 2015 from OWC, for instance, does not support TRIM since it utilises a rather strange RAID setup.

Does anyone know if the SSD is removable on the 2017 (Kaby Lake) version of the non-Touch-Bar 13" MacBook Pro like it was on the 2016 version?

It seems like, if this had changed, iFixit would've done more to note it and there would've been a bit more buzz about it, so I'm assuming it hasn't. But I can't seem to find anything anywhere that says anything about this. Considering it's now the only Mac laptop aside from the still-sold 2015 MacBook Air to have a removable boot drive, this is definitely of interest to me (and I'd imagine others as well).
