iBand does not work

I received my iBand protective case yesterday, it is the model that covers the back of the Iphone as well. I immediately took my Iphone out of the Otter protective case which was big and bulky and put my Iphone in the iBand. No less that 6 hours later my phone falls out of my pocket onto the carpeted floor of a restaurant and the screen breaks! I saw the phone fall and it landed onto the corner where the iBand protects the phone. Needless to say this product may work for others, but it failed miserably for me. This experiment will cost me dearly and I just wanted to warn people that this is not work as advertised all the time. I wish I never purchased the iBand case. :-(

How can it work for others if when you dropped it with the case your screen broke?

I was looking forward to this case even called Best Buy and they have it.
