I've already seen good pics from 6S camera and thought the majority of the tech radar samples looked crappy. Maybe horrible is too harsh, but if all the review photos taken with 6S looked like their samples, I would be pretty disappointed. Thankfully, like I said, I've already seen better. Nothing's wowed me yet, though.

ok then.. so what's your WOW factor?
i wanna see an example of a smartphone picture which is a wow.
i truly wanna check it out and understand.
IMO, 12 mp is enough for my use (with quality colors, etc..),
and until they invent a solution for zoom, low light and shallow DOF,
nothing really wows me yet.

Won't get that without a thicker phone/bigger lens. Only ways to get shallower DOF is a lens with higher magnification and or a larger sensor combined with larger aperture. Not going to happen on a smartphone without something like that Sony add on lens

at this point, who really cares about the battery life? If you are are using it all day and not near a charger, get a portable battery. Otherwise, charge it at night, while driving in to work, while at work, etc.

I love how they say it's a Low Res screen just because other manufacturers are having a pissing contest with screen resolution. You got 1080? I got qhd! lolz You got qhd? I got 4k lolzers

1080p is the perfect resolution for a phone this size until batteries make a huge leap forward. I don't want to sacrifice battery to get a screen that will appear minimally better to my eye.
Yes, 1080p would be great. The 6s does not have a 1080p screen. The 6s+ does. The review was for the 6s. This is in response to the numerous people who made a comment about 1080p.

I agree that we don't need qhd or 4k smartphones, but it would be nice if the 6s was 1080p.

Why should I need to carry a damn portable battery with me, or be chained to a wall outlet? Lets carry around another brick in my pocket because the first one doesn't last long enough. Make the @$$#$ phone .25mm or .5mm thicker, flatten the damn back with the camera, and everyone will be happy.

Nobody is complaining that phones are too thick. I see everyone complaining about battery life. This is Apple. Fix the #@%$ battery already.

You don't actually have to be chained to a wall outlet. You can just plug in, charge for a while and then...UNPLUG it!
(you may not have known that and thought you always need to be plugged in).

As for carrying a brick, you can get a really small extra battery, about the size of your lipstick, that will provide a substantial charge.

I am already happy, and have reasonable expectations that carrying a small computer around with me will sometimes require it to be recharged if I use it a lot. There is nothing broken in the battery that needs fixing.

Why would anyone care about the battery life? I want the phone to be as thin as possible even if it means I have to charge it multiple times a day and it will die when I need it the most.

I am a bit different. I want my phone to be as thick/heavy as it it can be (even like 90s brick phones) as long as it can give me a week battery life for the times when I visit Serengeti. Of course I would be buying a bag for it, just like on the old times :)

Meh, the Note 4 battery life was a bit better than my 6plus and it's screen is MUCH nicer. Both have awesome battery lives so my vote is for future iPhones to be even thinner, although I'd much rather see them reduce bezel size and footprint and would be happy with ip6 thinness forever.

I would assume the review was talking more about the 6 battery life, not the plus. My wife gets horrible battery life with her 6. My secretary has to have one of those battery pack covers to get through the day. That's one reason I stick with the plus, it's got incredible battery life. I use it for navigation 1-2 hours per day with the screen on continuously, and check messages, make calls etc. At the end of a 12-14 hour day I've usually still got 40-60% left and it never sees a charge until I go to sleep.

now THAT's what i aim for.

Low resolution?

I would say good enough resolution I remember the days of the old clip on cameras for Sony Ericsson with a tiny 2" screen and photos looked pixelated? Anybody remember those days?

The iPhone screen is as good as iPad.

As usual every year they tell us Android is better. But every year the iPhone jumps bigger leaps and the bloggers have gone quiet since the big screen iPhones lol.

Yep, I remember my old black and white tv with rabbit ears, certainly good enough resolution for me, why would I want to improve on that?
