You guys are sounding a BIT baffled but mainly pleased. I mean I see this really cool for surveillance and a whole world of uses - (I hate the word "deployments").

how many people walk around on a zoom call? Maybe vloggers? You tubers? But they have real cameras. I have no doubt it works well, can't imagine the market is that large that would actually use it (though imagine more will buy it).
I think this opens up a lot of stuff. Live webinar from solo spot at the top of Leavitt Peak in the Sierras? I mean the grasshoppers at 11K elevation? Half Dome down the Ridgeline. Will this handle that sort of thing?

We JUST got one of these last week for the sole purpose of following our toddler around when FaceTiming family and it’s been a game changer.

Does it work well with the main camera? I wanted to get this to video myself and my kids using the 15 Pro Spatial Video camera. Trying to record as many of those moments while they're young!

I forget the review i watched but they specifically said it does NOT work with spatial video. The tracking feature turns off. FYI, if you haven't heard/tried the Vision Pro. You don't want a lot of movement in Vision Pro videos. A fixed camera would be best. So if that is how you plan to use it, should work.

Side note, I was not impressed that much with spatial video and have mostly stopped taking it with my iPhone 15 Pro. Instead, I've started taking way more panos. Those are way more impressive IMO. Returned my vision Pro though, but saving up photos for a future version.

Costco now has this, bundled with a Belkin portable power bank (BPB014), for $29.97. I picked this up as it's on clearance and it works great. Works with the main camera, Facetime and Zoom, so I assume it works well with anything camera-related, as well is able to be screwed into a tripod. Just figured I'd put this out there in case anyone was still considering this.
