The crease is really not noticeable – holds up phone and shows noticeable crease. Apart from that it does seem to be some pretty cool hardware and software.
If you are actively using the phone, the crease is invisible in all but the absolute harshest of lighting - anything close to a comfortable reading angle indoors or in some level of shade makes it a non-issue. You can basically tilt it maybe 10-15° in any direction before it becomes visible.

But you don't have to lean it too far outside of that angle for it to show up - I'll see it when I turn the phone to show someone next to me a photo or whatever, and I'll see it if I have it resting flat on a desk behind my keyboard and mouse etc. It's not gross or even remotely deep or anything but it's there.

But then if I'm leaving it on my phone and want to glance at something I tend to have it closed and use it as a phone.

It’s not about the look but the feels. That crease is there and very obvious when using any foldable on the market.
I had people commenting on how they couldn't feel the crease on my Oneplus Open after a year of use. To be fair, I think that's weird - I can feel it for sure. But it's so shallow that it wouldn't affect handwriting over the crease, and it's a non issue dragging stuff around or swiping on a keyboard etc - it's noticeable, but barely.

This has THE BEST battery life of ANY Foldable on the market

Full on 10hrs+

Thus far the ONLY compromise in reviews I've seen is the far too highly placed power, volume and alert slider switch.
Weeeeeeelllll... That's not the only compromise. The speakers are dramatically worse than they were on the OnePlus Open or any decent slab phone. Like, I think they do the job for any of the things I do without headphones, but they are noticeably worse than any half-decent slab phone. It seems like they're just running into the laws of physics in a device this thin rather than cheaping out or anything, but regardless, you will notice it. Aside from that, the Ultra-wide camera is a bit of a let down in anything other than bright daylight. Quite genuinely, they are the only things that seem out of place on any kind of flagship phone - everything else is somewhere on the spectrum between "respectable" and "best in class" - it is an exceptional device.
