When it comes to it being fair and everyone having access to the same stock equally, why doesn't Apple let the whole world access the stock, not just the US? Anyone outside of the US is seeing between 3 to 6 weeks time until it will ship. Seeing as it'll be shipped from China the logistics really shouldn't be a problem.

Are you crazy? I love this! Nothing worse than waiting in line 6 hours for an iPhone and being like 8th in line only to find out the color, size and carrier you want are gone because the 7 ********** in front of you bought a bunch to ship to China or put up on Ebay $500 over retail price. She made it pretty clear the days of waiting in line is over...

1. have you ever seen a line for MacBooks? ever?

2. it's not a matter of where you sell it, it's a matter of supply. even if you don't sell it in stores, at all. people can always buy online and post it on eBay. plus, people in, say china, don't have access to the line in front of stores, but they do have access to online store, and it is afternoon there, so now, you easterners, your have to stay up at 3am to fight for your devices against the entire world, and some of them are in the afternoon, a much better time.

plus, do you know that chinese gets iPhones earlier than us?

Want irony, I am presently based in China, and also have to suffer the long unannounced wait due to Apple`s piss poor communications.

Simply not true. We get first crack at products here in the U.S., we don't have to fight other countries. All you have to do is look at the MacBook. It was available to ship 1-3 days here, every other country was 3-4 weeks, even for the base model.

what you said seems to be 'true'.
but you have to know that, people from other countries, say india since china is among the launching countries, can order from the US online store. and they can ship to some US address that is from some transfer company. and those companies will then ship whatever they order to india.
and yes, you will have to fight them.

like you said, 1-3days here, 4-6 weeks outside. people are willing to pay some extra to those companies to shorten 4-6 to 1week

I've been very skeptical about all the "Cook is a disaster, we wish Jobs were still here" posts, but the combination of the Watch and the rMB really make me wonder. I will tell you that if I were Cook, Angela and several others would be packing some boxes this morning and leaving without their building passes at lunchtime. Or sooner...

Sarcasm. Please tell me this post is just a really poor attempt at sarcasm/humour.
