I've been on a bunch of other forums lately that use vBulletin software and I have to say they're so annoying I can't stand them, especially compared to MR. I just wanted to say Thank You Arn for not allowing Giant avatars, banners in signatures, and for not putting giant ads in between posts. It's things like these that keep me coming back to MR.
 
Count me in on the "Hurray for Arn" theme. This is such a brilliant place. Thanks Arn. 🙂

Nothing. I just realized how obnoxious this forum could be if arn changed just a few things, and I felt like voicing my gratitude.
 
I was here for well over a year before I even looked at another forum, so I thought it was normal. Now... I appreciate it so much more!
 
So what was up about the vBulletin comment?

I have seen horrible phpBB sites and IPB and SMF and everything else.

But either way. YAY
 
It's definitely understated in contrast to other forums.

Arn deserves a lot of credit for doing the right thing, over and over.

I'm guessing it's because since this site uses vb, he's comparing to other vb sites that aren't as good. Shows how many things could have been done wrong but weren't. I especially like how Arn asked about changes before and while he was making them. I had another site I used to go to everyday that just made a lot of changes with no warning and no user input. Needless to say, I don't go there very often anymore and rarely bother posting.

I'm sure there could be some improvements (always room for improvements or changes) but I can't think of anything at the moment.

The difference being that Counterfit sometimes makes sense. 😉
 
I never even look at other forums. The few times I have I feel dirty - they're messy, no one bothers to make anything they write legible and are just yuk in general.

Honestly, it has. Even though it made me laugh and think of a variety of connotations.

Yes, Arn does do an awesome job on keeping MR an awesome place to be.
