Just wanted to add my thanks as well - haven't had a "thank you" thread in a while, this is definitely overdue. I appreciate everyone's hard work here, Gods, Mods and Admins.

I am also thankful to Arn (and others who help this site run) for this website.

MacRumors keeps me up to date with the latest and greatest technologies and technological information from Apple (and related technology companies) when I need it -- it is especially helpful now that I am in the process of starting a technology company.

I have been to many other technology forum and news web sites. None compare to MacRumors when it comes to the conciseness of the home page news articles, the organization of the forums and the integration of the sub-sites (such as Mac Bytes, Mac Guides and Mac Polls). It is also rare (especially online) to find people who are as professional and knowledgeable as the ones who participate in the forums here at MacRumors.

God Bless ;)

I've been on a bunch of other forums lately that use vBulletin software and I have to say they're so annoying I can't stand them, especially compared to MR. I just wanted to say Thank You Arn for not allowing Giant avatars, banners in signatures, and for not putting giant ads in between posts. It's things like these that keep me coming back to MR.
Ditto.

oh yeah and thanks to the macrumors community for making it such a friendly, informative place.

not including mad jew, of course.:D

I have to agree with the folks here. This is one of the cleanest and nicely laid out forums I've seen. Thanks, arn!

I've gotten so used to MR, I always wonder what the heck is wrong with the other forums I try and visit. I'd say vBulletin should start using MR as one of the best implementations of their software available. Its definitely the best I've seen anywhere.

Yeah, MR forums are definitely some of the better ones out there. A big thank you! for putting the forum jumper back, whenever that was. :D

Can we please add reputation and the Public Display of Affection hack? Pretty please?

I dunno who Arn is but I'm all for lovin'...despite what the mods believe!

That sounds decidedly ominous. As if there isn't enough mutual admiration and sycophancy about already.

Thanks, arn, for all you do. I've been coming here pretty regularly for almost five years now (since I started researching Macs...research that resulted in me switching back to Macs with my iBook Dual USB that's still going strong), and have watched this site grow by leaps and bounds. Through it all, you've managed to keep the site under control, user-friendly, and a joy to visit. Now that I'm more involved in the MR community, I have an even greater appreciation for what it takes to keep things in tip-top shape.

And with all that, arn is content to remain the man behind the curtain, happy to let others have all the attention. Cheers!
