There seems to be a great deal of consternation over the new look and the new forums but I'd like our/my thanks to not get lost in the storm. Thanks Arn and crew for the well thought through and seamless update and modernization it was needed and is appreciated.

Yes, I don't mind the new design. I just hope that there's an overhaul to moderation as well.

On the positive note, I love how we can SEE who like's a post now. Makes it much easier to add people to the ignore list.

I used to think the ignore list shut me off from cultural and perspective exchange, and there were times I have changed my viewpoints for the better by listening to someone I'd otherwise ignore.

Lately however, I'm finding out that many people should really just be ignored.

And that it's good for the overall mood of the thread . . . . and myself.

That's probably a good idea.

I think that if I couldn't control my temper when reading people's posts, I would be better off ignoring them. Happily, it's not a problem I have.
