That's extremely annoying that you can't join a photo stream unless you have iOS 6

I, like many others, dislike most of the changes they've made with their software updates and kept my iOS 5.01.

Why is that the only way to share photos? Apple is not user friendly, they're control freaks. And I don't want to screw w setting up iCloud just to see some pictures. What a pain in the ass.

Ya, did you forget the huge controversy with the new maps initially as well as the removal of the YouTube app? Yes, there were plenty of others who were disappointed with the changes. Not all change is "progress". Big companies often make poor decisions in their quest to "improve" or fix something that isn't broken.

The youtube app and google maps app is better now because of it.

Also I have seen few faults with apple maps, and we have voice nav through bluetooth head units in car.

It was amazing progress. Sometimes progress has minor growing pains though.

I couldn;t agree more. Frankly, I wish that all of Apple's stock Apps were updated through the appstore as well. I feel it would give us more frequent updates as they wouldn't need to push a full version update. Some of those other OS's are already doing this. Just saying!

You are kidding yourself if you think this guy is the only one displeased with some of the changes in iOS 6. Whether their gripes are rational or not is beyond the point. And, for the record, plenty of reports that iOS 6 runs like molasses on an iPhone 4. I am among those reports.

Yeah I'll wait for the next hardware release. I am really hoping they gave the casing another full redesign. Did you dislike the length of the iPhone 5 as well? I don't like the proportions.

Of all the iPhone releases, the 4S was the best IMO. It had the beauty of the 4, with much more powerful innards. I don't REALLY care one way or the other about the screen size of the 5. Well, I guess I do. I don't hate the size, but I also don't feel it TRULY gave me more room to work, in most cases. As such, I see it as pointless. I was the guy that was sure we would get some sort of "killer feature" to utilize that extra screen when all we had was leaked prototypes/part, but alas, that didn't happen. I wouldn't mind going back to a 4S right now, to be frank. LTE is what I would miss, especially since I have a grandfathered unlimited plan.

My son is using my former iPhone 4 with the last release of iOS 5 & he is a happy camper.

I am using iPhone 5 with latest release of iOS 6 and am likewise.

Your decision should be based on your own preferences. You're the one who has to live with it.

Hate is only hurting you. It's a negative worthless emotion, that serves no purpose.

Apple?

They work hard, roll out their latest work that's designed to sell more of their hardware.

Want all the latest capabilities? Cough up the money & you'll have it.

That's what Apple demands & there's no alternatives unless you switch to another platform & brand.

It's a simple as that. Apple is & always has been an expensive way to go.
