I wasn’t actually saying this is going to be a thing. I’m saying there’s no technical restriction from allowing it to be one. We have a mechanism that senses when driving. No reason not to allow CarPlay to activate there. Even more simply, a Bluetooth connection could easily be set to trigger the same effects.Ok now this is interesting.
So cars with supported USB connections may allow the iPhone to function as a CarPlay head unit?
