Meh. I'm bored.
  • I get bored easily...infact, I'm nearly always bored
  • When I have a cold I go in the bath and its gone!
  • I'm British, but I *think* my ancestors were French
  • My grandma is Irish
  • So is my German/French teacher
  • I am always telling my school's IT dept to switch to Macs
  • The same IT Dept uses Windows, which is *always* crashes yet they say Macs crash more
  • I really really like America-so much that I wanna live there when I'm older
  • Because Puddick will eventually read this, Linux sucks!
  • Apparently I talk in my sleep yet I don't belive I do (its kinda hard to check...)
  • Whenever something computer-wise goes wrong, I blame Windows even if it has nothing to do with it
I cant think of anything else...maybe later
EDIT: Got another: When I went to Amsterdam from Leeds-Bradford Airport I bought Mac Format (a magazine) in the airport. The clerk was so ignorant that he actually said "you arn't a Mac user are you?"! I said "what...you arn't" and walked off! The look on his face was brilliant!
EDIT 2: Got another: I'm always tired at 5PM until about 6:30PM. Dunno why.

OK, I’ll play. I already had these ten facts about me up on my Friendster profile:
1). Broke my back from falling off a cliff
2). I'm seriously addicted to Starbucks soy chai
3). Lived in Japan for two years and never learned the language (ok... I was 2 & 3)
4). Went to the Academy Awards & Golden Globes (both twice)
5). Was stalked by a crazy girl AND her mother
6). Owned and ran a comic-book store by myself (but never really wanted to)
7). Had a pet rattlesnake
8). Found true love in a hot tub
9). Created a popular web-site community for gay comic-book fans
10). I’ve never ridden a bike

And here’s ten more:
11). I’ve never done a drug (not even pot), I only smoked once (for a community college play I was in), and I’m allergic to alcohol (but wish I wasn’t).
12). The one time I drove a car, I was half-blind and the driving instructor never knew
13) I love snow and cold weather
14). I’m an atheist but I believe in ghosts
15). I'm attracted to guys with hairy chests/arms
16). I love Korean food and could eat it every day
17). I’m obsessed with Morrissey (but not in a sexual way)
18). I’ve been patiently waiting to be 35 all my life (just a couple months away).
19). I HATE mint-flavored toothpastes!!
20). I’ve always had Macs at home, work and even school (have only used PC’s in public places out of necessity).

5 more things...

26) My hair used to be like lau's, then I grew it long and after brushing it every day it became straight.

Seriously? Brushing it actually makes it turn straight? I have long long long hair and its more wavy then anything. Ive even gotten it relaxed

My hair is rather thick and heavy, the last 2" of it curls a bit but everything above is weighed down, the last time Lau, or any other of the uk gang saw it I had a bob cut and the curl was faceing in on the bottom so it was not so noticeable, right now it's at sholder length the curl is outwards, which seems to work ok.

Got another: I'm always tired at 5PM until about 6:30PM. Dunno why.

Me too — I remember saying this to my mum when I was a teenager and she said it was definitely hard-wired, because when I was a toddler I wouldn't have a nap in the afternoon, but would fall asleep about 5pm. She'd always try and get dinner in me first, and if she managed to, I'd usually manage to stay awake. There were definitely a few asleep in the dinner moments though. :D

To this day, I could cheerfully go to sleep about 5 o' clock most days.

19). I HATE mint-flavored toothpastes!!

It's disgusting but I deal with colgate bicarb stuff (in the blue sparkley tube), I can't eat anything for the next three hours as it ruins the taste.

I have nothing against mint toothpaste, but there's really not that much else to choose from is there (or at least here there isn't). I tried a Zesty Blast one not long ago and it was ok, but mint was still more refreshing.

Thought of a few more:
  • I mak ton's of promises but rarley keep them
  • I like working, but I never do it (eps school work)
  • I find people who use TXT-style language on MSN really annoying (like sxc for 'sexy') and I tell people who do it to stop talking to me
  • :p is my most commoly used emoticon on MSN
  • MSN once deleted all my MSN contacts when I was using the Live Messenger Beta
  • My music collection has about 870 songs
  • I always listen to the same playlist when I go to sleep and ut has exactly 8 songs but I hate 1 of them
  • I've only had 5 BSoDs in my life
  • I've never seen a Mac crash (the actual OS, not just apps)
  • I use Expose a lot
  • I hate my desktop having more than 3 icons on
  • I love going on rollercoasters (I'm an adrenaline junkie)
  • I've never been sick from a ride
  • If I hadn't met SBT and used his Mac I would never have got one
  • I nearly got fired from my job because I told another 'employee' the password
  • I spend ages in the shower
  • All my pets apart from my cat have died
I'll think of more later...

Just a tip about posting in this thread. If you use
  1. rather than
    • , so your "things" are numbered, it makes it more fun to read and count them.

I arrived up there late in the game 1976. I had to start on the laborers dobie list. It was tough getting out at first. Then everyone blew town (Fairbanks) in December and I got three nice long jobs in a row (Livengood and Chandalar). Of course, it was dead of winter. After breakup people started returning, but I had enough hours for the high B list. Still, it became harder to get out. I did manage one good long job with BP at Barrow. So, I had about 40K cash and decided to go back down to Mexico and do some 'investing'. I never made it back to Alaska, even though I really liked it. I do plan on returning.
