well this sucks.

crosby's gonna get a ring and he's not even playing after he hurt his vagina in the 2nd period.

I laughed very hard at that. Thank you sir :D

Yeah, Crosby hasn't contributed to his team's success at all.

Let's be fair now.

Well lets be fair, he had 1 goal and 2 assists in the Finals. But I'm with zioxide, he should've manned up and tried to play. It was Game 7 FFS.

Good for Bill Guerin.

HAHAHAHAHA to Hossa.

I hate that Crosby got his Cup, but I am very happy for Billy. From worst to first.

Oh and 2 other former isles Miro and Tank.

He did try to play.

Using that line of thinking, I guess Datsyuk should have manned up and tried to play the whole series. It was the Stanley Cup Finals FFS.

I'm not a Crosby fan or one to defend him, but come on now. You can't fault the guy for getting creamed against the boards like that. I think people forget that he's only 21. If you hate him now, just wait 5 years when he's in the prime of his career.

Even Mike Babcock, when shaking hands with Crosby after the game told him: "Great leadership." He didn't have to say anything, or could have just said the standard: "Good game." but chose to specifically say that to him.

I was only highlighting the 3rd. They were outshot overall and in every period except the 1st.

The Wings were outplayed. Shots On Goal aren't the whole story. Fleury outplayed Osgoode. The Pen's D outplayed Detroit's. They didn't give the Wings room to do their thing.

Talbot didn't score 2 lucky goals- he broke through a sloppy defense and fooled Osgoode twice.

No, as an official you have to maintain the same standard. A penalty is a penalty, whether it happens in game 7 or the regular season.

No, they didn't get outplayed. Talbot got two lucky breaks that resulted in goals. He is the only one that produced anything from the Pens last night.

Detroit also outshot the Pens, whom only took 1 shot in the 3rd.

Guess those shots aren't good enough man. Because in games 1 and 2 penguins outshot detroit. Shots don't count goals do.

And told ya so! Pens could do it, been saying it all year...but only on here since i joined.

Oh yeah hossa saying "I joined Detroit for a better chance at the cup" Suck it.

Also think about pens season before Bylsma stepped in? Terrible. Once we got rid of Therrien everything turned around we started winning games and ended up in a playoff spot and winning the Cup. Congratulations to Crosby, Malkin, Gonchar, Fleury and the entire team.

I didn't get to see the hit, as I was driving (listened to the game, thank you AOL Radio App). I'll have to take a look at it.

I will continue to hate him.

I heard what Babcock said and toolface didn't do much of an acknowledgment.

You didn't get to watch a game 7 in the finals!

Imagine being 21 years old and winning the Stanley Cup 5 minutes before that moment. I would be speechless and dumbfounded. Especially after EVERYONE was saying it couldn't be done. He probably thought he was dreaming.

It wasn't that bad of a hit, but his left leg got pinned to the boards - he may have pulled something.

It was a pretty bad hit, and you could see him yell in pain right when he was injured. It looked like his knee was twisted or his hip was yanked. It was a pretty awkward hit.
