And that's three! Yay! Should have the points now. Although we lost I think it was the Man City game that was the turning point for us.

Would like to see a good match and win for the Spurs, I can hope!
I think not!
[doublepost=1513447311][/doublepost]Happy days!

Actually getting boring now. Don't want to sound like a hater because i respect the quality. But "City win again" is no longer interesting. Starting to feel like Bundesliga.

Well yes I'd prefer a closer battle, but sadly my main interest is at the other end of the table. Although we are heading in the right direction!

Well the good Liverpool turned up today. Again a good result for us as it keeps Bournemouth's points tally and goal difference down. I believe they are our Boxing Day game. Before that we have some cup game against a mediocre South London side!

Yes, an excellent result for Liverpool; I'd have liked to have seen Manchester United stagger and stumble a little; the gracelessness and sheer toxic nastiness of Mr Mourinho is very wearing.

Mo Salah has scored 20 goals in a Liverpool shirt faster than Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler, or Luis Suarez. He's simply on fire. A convincing scoreline after two difficult draws, and back in the top four.

Man City will likely run away with the title, leaving Mourinho to wail and gnash his teeth. It's a race for second now, even though Mou will probably finish there.

Realistically, the best Liverpool can likely hope for is a third place finish, and a good showing in the knockout stages of the CL - with a little luck, a semifinal appearance or beyond is not out of the question, if the squad stays healthy.

All over then. Sounded like an awful game. Arsenal had one shot on target and scored.
We didn't and lost. Oh well. I'd take a few more points in the league than a cup win right now.

I think Nashville TN is getting an MLS team ...

I've completely turned on MLS. After this Columbus fiasco, I don't believe a word they say anymore, and I'm sick of their triumphalist growth narrative. Let's see how well they do when they are no longer able to distract us / make a quick buck by creating new teams (there are already arguably too many). They did good work over the last 20 years rebuilding the sport in the USA - but now they've gotten greedy.

These B squad cup games are not worth watching unless you support one of the teams involved. Very scrappy, and the managers just see them as an unwelcome distraction.

Man City goes through by the skin of the teeth - Leicester should have won this, but their star players missed their PKs just when they had their chance to be heros. Man City, the last team who need it, were lucky.

Bristol City upsets Man Utd in the League Cup, with Mourinho having put out a fairly strong team. While I was looking forward to another Manchester Derby in the cup competition, I like a shock upset even more. Congrats to Bristol City.

And that was the family-friendly version.:rolleyes:

ha!

also, typo on my part. should have read, "Do we have ..."

Wenger opted for a cautious (by his standards) tactical approach, and Arsenal have been pinned back most of the half.

Liverpool all over Arsenal in the first half, and should have scored 3. They should have put this match to bead already. Which is giving me flashbacks of the match against Everton.

Failing to ruthlessly exploit your opponent's weakness or mistakes invites disaster.
