No, we won't. Not with that cushion.

The wobble was the concession of that goal just before half time, but it was answered with a swift score early in he second half.

Still, holding Manchester City to 0-0 at this stage of a game is no mean achievement.
Carroll came close to! All of Merseyside is cheering us on!

Behind to a penalty for West Ham having kept City out for a decent span of time.

Manchester United lead Palace by two goals to one, while Liverpool lead Watford by three goals to nil.

Arsenal are now ahead of Bournemouth to the tune of 5-1.

And Chelsea lead against Spurs by one goal to nil.

It was a dive, but refs call those regularly these days and I can't complain too much - though City were lucky today. West Ham made them work hard for the win.

Liverpool scored five. I would have traded four of those in exchange for one at Old Trafford. o_O

Did your goal difference no harm. The battle for 4th is really interesting at the moment.
Makes it an interesting season.

Agreed, but firstly, Liverpool's attack seems to be working smoothly enough again, and secondly, as @Apple fanboy has already pointed out, it will do your goal difference no harm (and you might need that).

Liverpool are still ahead.

Now, I have to say that Manchester City were most fortunate to get that win against West Ham who played and defended well all through the match and most certainly deserved a point for their endeavours. Moreover, Manchester City did not look the effortlessly menacing machine that they used to be - they made hard work of West Ham, who did well and deserved better.

Yes, the battle for fourth (and possibly third, if Spurs remain Spursy) does indeed look interesting.

RE: goal difference. Liverpool's upcoming match against Fulham might be an opportunity for Liverpool to make up some territory in that area.

Arsenal and Spurs giving Man Utd a helping hand towards champions league qualification by taking points off each other. Will Arsenal ever be in in the top four again this season, or are we now looking at our final top four for 2018-2019?

Arsenal had a PK to win it and then threw away two points with one kick. Though it has to be said that Aubameyang looks to me to have dived and the ref bought it, so I suppose from a neutral perspective justice was done. Terrible penalty from Aubameyang.

Torreira's red...he wasn't trying hurt Rose but his studs were high and refs call that a red these days.

Poor penalty, both the decision to give it and the abysmally poor penalty shot and follow up.

Spurs are stuttering, but Arsenal are not yet sufficiently good to be able to capitalise on that.

So, the Manchester juggernauts roll on with more wins, though narrow in both cases. Lukaku in flat-track bully mode, looking good against a weak team. De Bruyne is injured again for Man City, though they probably don't need him to win the league again. But it is a worry for Pep.

I see that Celtic fans are angry to see Rogers leave for Leicester. The reality that Celtic fans will not want to hear is that while they are a big club, even the weakest club in the Premier League has more money than they do and plays on a bigger stage. Which is why clubs like Leicester will always be able to poach their players and managers.

Southampton played very well, and were unfortunate not to be able to claim a draw against Manchester United.

Dame you! 2 missed pens means my fantasy team scored 4 points today! 4. That’s my worst Saturday ever. Hopefully I can pick up some points this evening and tomorrow.

More importantly I hope we can beat the toon! Come on you Irons!

Yes, that missed penalty from Arsenal - along with the feeble follow up - hurts.

And Pogba missed a penalty, as well.
