Ahhh, i miss the chants, slurs and songs big time!
i am in the southern USA which is so different from up north distant wise, were bars are open here.
but safety first!
Absolutely miss the atmosphere, but I’d rather see the empty stadiums than the COVID number go up. I suspect it will be sometime during the 2021/22 campaign when things get back to normal.

Brendy's Leicester out-Mourinho'd Mourinho today, hitting Spurs on the break and then soaking up Spurs' (somewhat feeble) attempts to chase the game. Barring some late dramatics Leicester look set to take all three points.

Kane, Sone, and Bale were all on the pitch in the second half, but it didn't make much difference.

Vardy is the heart and soul of Leicester; pure energy, pace, skill, and spite.

EDIT: ...and Man Utd may have won their match with Leeds already with just five minutes gone. 2-0 up. Leeds are a perfect opponent for Man Utd, as they will run around and press a lot but leave plenty of space in behind and don't quite have the offensive power to get themselves out of a hole. Game over. Ole in!!!

Difficult one for me. With Kane, Son and Vardy in my FF team I was hoping for a high scoring match!

I'll take the points and goals where they come.

While - in the normal course of events - I'm happy to see Southampton do well, I'd just as soon prefer if it wasn't against us.

And, while Arsenal were characteristically brutally bad for much of the first half (quelle surprise) - and received another idiotic red card as a result of yet another descent of a seriously stupid red mist - they did score from play, they did hold on (with ten men, as per usual) and they did secure a point.

These days, we should be grateful for such small mercies.
While it is an unusual statement, I have to say (as a Saints fan) that I am now disappointed we weren't able to take the points off Arsenal & Citeh this week.
It's an indication of how far we have come that we are not happy with just a draw at Arsenal and firmly believed we should have won (and view it as points lost) against City at home.
This time last year, we would have been happy with just a 3 goal loss against them and a 1-0 loss at Arsenal.

As a West Ham fan I can 100% relate!

Excellent description, and reminds me of the time I described Vardy as an alley-cat when chatting with my brother.
It's funny - I have often said that Kane is over-rated, but Vardy is too often under-rated.
He's a real striker, with a workman-like attitude and a willingness to get stuck in for a win.
Really like him. Similar mould to Rickie Lambert, but better (my goodness, did I just say that? Sorry Sir Rickie).

Agree that Vardy is (still) far too often under-rated, and is an excellent striker, one whose game has evolved intelligently as he has aged.

A comment my brother frequently repeats back to me, with a grin, and one which echoes @Lord Blackadder's apt observation about skill and spite (and energy and pace) - but he also has the ability to evolve as a player, (which is more rare than it should be) and can deploy his undoubted skills with lethal effect even as his body ages.

While I enjoyed yesterday's United / Leeds match, I'm not going to get too carried away, as inconsistency is still United's calling card. I did expect a high scoring match, but it honestly could have been 8 or 9 goals for United if not for Martial's wastefulness in front of goal (he was actually pretty good other than that, as his two assists will attest).

As much as I get annoyed that United has to play two ostensible DMs, Fred and Scott McTominay can really do a job when they're on form. That was a high water mark for McTominay — he's one of those sneaky good players who seems to ease past people's expectations without them realizing it, much like Darren Fletcher did over a decade ago. He was a striker in the youth ranks and seems to not have lost his finishing touch as he moved back deeper.

Leicester away on Boxing Day is a huge match.

Interesting game just licking off between Hammers and Chelski.
I'd be happy with a 3-3 draw with Ogbonna and Zouma both scoring hattricks (They're both in my fantasy squad and my last remaining players that can give me points this week).

I’d not like that scoreline. 0-3 to the visitors sounds better to me! But fat chance with Antonio MIA again.
Come on you Irons!

Barcelona are in a “complicated situation” admits boss Ronald Koeman

Never something a Barca fan would want to read...I bet the Madrid fans are loving this!
"The Catalan giants have already dropped 18 points through their opening 13 rounds of matches and sit in fifth in the standings – eight points from the top of the standings in La Liga."

Almost unprecedented in modern times! Much like the current state of the Premier League, one must say.
