Sarina Wiegman would not be allowed to manage a men's team because men would not allow it. There is way to much misoginia within men's football. Look at how many men in the game, many of them high profile have been caught out disparaging womens football. It is my opinion that if Ms Wiegman was given a shot at managing a men's football team there would be elements within the game that would see to it that she failed.

She should be paid an absolute fortune. It shouldn't matter what anyone else is paid - she should be the highest earner in one of these positions (coaching, managing etc).

Just look towards the US for how much disparity there is between the men's and women's game. Yes I know there has been ongoing issues with the women wanting to be paid the same as the men regarding the international team but look at how successful the US women's team have been, they are multiple world cup winners, won multiple other trophies and yet their manager is paid no where near what the men's manager is paid. Look at the number of world cup winners there are in the women's league football but yet having the name 'world cup winner' beside their name will only get them a few thousand $$$ added to their value but when you compare that to a male world cup winner, well!!! they get a few million added to their value.

Sarina Wiegman is like the international equivalent of Mourhino, she wins the Euro Championship with the Netherlands and get's them to the final of a WWC where they lose to the USA. She moves to England where she again wins the Euro Championship and gets the team to a WWC.
With the proliferation of Saudi money men putting millions of $$$ into the game and getting as many high profile players it can to play in their league, I wonder if the Saudi FA will try and tempt Sarina Wiegman with a few million $$$ to become their national team manager.

I agree with the notion of playing for you country for free because it would separate the greedy from those with honor. There is always 2 camps when it comes to wanting to achieve something, camp 1 wants achievements because they know having accolades against their name drives up their earning potential camp 2 want's achievements because pride, honor and a sense of accomplishment is more important to them than money.
What playing for your country should be statutory is compensation to the players club if the player get's injured but getting paid to play for your country, nope, do not agree with it.

It is another case of damned if you do and damned if you don't. I have no doubt Prince William would love to attend but he knows he would face the wrath of the UK public over environmental concerns and tax payers money if he was to take a flight over to Australia just for the game and flew back to his family after the game. The UK has a strong anti-royal presence and a strong pro-environmental presence and I have no doubt Prince William has been advised not to play into their hands because if he did so not only would he be accused of creating more environmental pollution by flying by plane but also be accused of abusing the public purse by paying for the flight with tax payer money because he would be attending as an official representative of not only the FA but the country which means it comes under the purview of the public purse (the tax payer). I doubt the Spanish royals suffer the same problem with the public as their English cousins do.
Edit: Harry is no longer an active Royal and Prince Andrew was removed from Royal duties and there is no one in the lower pecking order who is really interested in the sport. Should the King of England attend? I am not sure about that because the King of Spain is not attending.
I am 100% certain that Prince William would’ve been there in an instant if it was men’s WC, without excuses. Ah well, I take it as the royalties in Britain have continued problems 😉

The British press are pushing that argument just so they can stir up trouble for the Royals and as a result others are falling for it. People need to remember that Prince William attended the final of the Women's Euro Championships that featured England against Germany and therefore based on that evidence I believe he would have attended the WWC final if he knew he would not face any backlash from the British public.
I don't care about them either, but they should at least do their representative duties for the salaries they collect. Support their countries attendance in sport events are one of them.

I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that if the team that has represented England in the first football World Cup Final that they have managed to qualify for, since 1966, was male, there would have been a path beaten (via air miles) by the Government (led by the PM), the Royal Family, and sundry others, in order to attend it in person.
