sameVery strange to find myself cheering a Real Madrid victory......a (deserved) victory snatched at the death, in City's very own back yard.
And Real Madrid will play the second leg at home.

Understatement.Scenes at final Goodison Park Merseyside Derby.
Not entirely sure what the unfortunate fact of the entire forward line tearing their hamstrings (even on holiday, or a sun soaked break) says about the team (whether it is the training, or, that what is asked of them in terms of games played, hours on the pitch, and the style of game played - high pressing - is excessive), but this is something that the management may need to take a long, close, hard look at.I guess the powers that be wanted to keep things 'fair' between EFC and LFC
41 wins each, and 38 draws.
On another note, i see the Michael Oliver effect is spreading to other clubs, not just Arsenal moaning then.
Overall LFC still in prime position with 7pt advantage
-----------
I don't think it means anything to us. Our entire frontline have torn their hamstrings...even whilst on holiday. For me nothing has really changed.
And we didn't sign anyone in Jan. The hierarchy has displayed a level of incompetence. They've lost Edu, left the squad threadbare, and not even managed to secure a loan deal reinforcement in Jan, to help the manager compete.
If the board don't bring in a minimum of 2 midfielders, and 3 forwards (including a striker) in the summer, they would've failed spectacularly.
And if Arteta doesn't win at least 2 trophies next season (including the EPL), then personally, i'm done trusting the process.
I have no desire to see Liverpool win the title, but I’d rather Wolves lost to keep the 8 point cushion between us and the bottom 4.4 points in it now.
Come Wolves do your thing.
Didn’t see that coming. Newcastle getting demolished by Man City.
Being above United and Spurs hardly makes you a long way from relegation these days! What the hell has Moyes done to Everton!!!!. Since his arrival they have not lost in the league. The only loss since his arrival was the defeat in the FA Cup 4th round. They were extremely close to relegation and now they are above United and Spurs!!!.
Starting to look good now. Another 3-4 wins, or thereabouts, and we _should_ be safe. Barring one year since Premier League were reduced to 20 teams, 40 points have been enough to survive...What the hell has Moyes done to Everton!!!!. Since his arrival they have not lost in the league. The only loss since his arrival was the defeat in the FA Cup 4th round. and we lost
Today, i took a football Sunday off, and might regret/concerned over missing an upset.... now.I wouldn’t mind Man United getting relegated. 🫣
Not going to happen this season. There is only 8 games left and with the points difference between United and Ipswich (12pts) it would require Ipswich to win 4 games and draw one out of the 8 and for United to lose 5 games out of the 8 for United to get relegated. With the games coming up for United losing 5 games is a strong possibility but Ipswich to win 4 and draw one out of the last games games? impossible. This season could end up being United's worst in the history of the club (prior to them getting relegated back in the 70's)I wouldn’t mind Man United getting relegated. 🫣

Tbh I’m more concerned about our fate than United’s. But with four teams below us hopefully they continue to struggle. Nothing against them btw. Just looking at our own problems.
