Masterful subs by Arteta.

Take a bow Dowman.

*phew*
Phew, indeed.

Yes, tactically (and strategically excellent) substitutions by Mikel Arteta, and well done to both Viktor Gyokeres, and the wonderful Max Dowman, aged all of sixteen.

Now, up next, I devoutly hope that West Ham defeat (dare I hope for "thrash"?), Manchester City, and not just because I would like to see West Ham win, and Manchester City lose.....

Even if they weren't snapping at our heels, (at some distance, granted), I would still wish to see City defeated, as I detest the state sovereign fund ownership model of clubs, especially when such states come complete with lamentable records and standards concerning the provision of basic human rights to their subjects and citizens.

Unfortunately, Manchester City are ahead by a goal to nil against West Ham.....

Ah, brilliant: West Ham have equalised...now, the score stands at one goal apiece.

Dowman is on another level. His confidence, and sheer stance on the ball, is lovely to watch. Now that goal, and how Martinelli kept the defenders at bay, to allow Dowman a "clean" run on goal. Simply beautiful...

COYG!

Chelsea losing is especially poetic given Jon Obi Mikel nonsensical monologue

The hypocrisy is astounding that I have to believe he’s trolling for clicks.

Seems like there were a lot more West Ham fans on here yesterday than normal!
Very very happy with a point. Yes three would have been incredible. I haven’t seen any of it. I was following the score on my phone but fell asleep as I’m very busy with a trade show and haven’t been sleeping well.

So I think that’s the PL title sorted failing a catastrophic collapse by Arsenal.

Meanwhile at the important end of the table we move out of the bottom three. Now we just need Fulham and Liverpool to win today. I do think for the three of us (Spurs, West Ham and Forest) it’s going to go down to the wire.

Only Arsenal left to play for us that looks like an unwinable game. But by then maybe they will have won the title and taken their foot off the gas.

Even if Arsenal had not stood to benefit by West Ham doing well, I would have been supporting West Ham as I cannot abide (almost everything about) Manchester City (not least their ownership).

I would argue Nuno has done well (thus far) with his stewardship of West Ham.

Good luck.

I will still be gnawing my nails and gritting my teeth until this has been achieved.

Agreed.

Hm.

Man Utd beat Aston Villa fairly convincingly, solidifying their hold on 3rd place. Glad to put the bad feeling of Newcastle away behind us. Bruno's going to shatter the season assist record in the PL at this rate.

Arsenal should be pleased with how things look in the table right now.
