Using an electron microscope I found 6 molecules out of place. This has no effect on function and no one can see this (except me). I plan on taking mine back and getting an exchange.

Haha, you beat me to it with the electron microscope crack, well done!

Seriously, the constant forum posts like this kinda make me sick, and I would hate to know any of the OCD nit pickers in real life as I would probably want to strangle each and every one of them.

Step 1: put away the magnifying glass
Step 2: enjoy your iPad

General Rule: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I was in the Apple store the other day and saw a guy who was nervously talking with an employee. I heard him say that this was his 4th iPad because the "light leaking" issues, and he checked it out in the darkness under a table and wanted to go right back the the Genius Bar because he saw (yet again) a tiny imperfection. It was really pathetic, and oh yeah, he seemed like he was generally a real happy, well adjusted dude. (not)

Yes. Exactly. Are you people this fussy with every product you buy?!

Seriously cracking up at the image of some OCD dude in an Apple Store, under the table checking for light leaks. Holy cow. Check yourself in somewhere!
