I like big watches, but the sport 42mm seems perfect for me in the gym 6 days a week & swiping texts to answer the boss i mean wife i need to pick something up on the way home.

As for dress up, 45mm next gen Apple Please :):cool:

Guys I feel like I have "small wrists" for a guy (since I'm slender) but not as small as some people.

I have an iPhone 4S test device here and that is 58.6mm wide. That just barely covers my entire wrist if I put it over it. The 42mm watch is 2cm smaller than that.

Personally the 38mm modal is only half a centimeter smaller, but the 42mm makes the watch look thinner by comparison. I'm going that route since I'm a guy and I don't want some puny watch on my arm.

Could I get away with a 38mm? Yeah sure, but it's the smaller version.

Interesting point. I find it odd that many people say they are getting the 38 so it looks less "smartwatchy". IMO if anything it looks a little more boxey since its the same thickness but shorter in length and width.

I'm going with the 42 mm, I did the mistake pre ordering the 6 instead of the 6plus because it look way to big on the internet, not doing that mistake again !:p

As has been mentioned the main thing is the width of your wrist when it comes to a watch casing. I've got 215mm circ and 75 ish width so I'll definitely be getting the 42mm. But if I had skinny arms I wouldn't hesitate in getting the 38, I don't think either size is for a man or a woman in nature. They're there to accommodate wrist size.

But at the end of the day no-one can dictate another persons preference.

It's not a small watch but it's also not a big watch.

Lug-to-lug length for Apple watch is quite reasonable.

This is the 42 on Ben Bajarin. Doesn't look massive to me.

This one looks big
