The 5c is not a flop

The 5c sales are going to shock even Apple, I already have friends that love the touch ID, BUT are buying the 5c...what???..go figure, not about the cost, it's all about the look and feel.

The 5c of course will outsell last years 4s sales when the 5 came out.

And I don't think it will effect the 5s sales too much, but of course we will never know as Apple doesn't release model sales numbers, just iPhone sales as a whole.

It might be outdated to you but not to everyone. I don't currently own a smartphone. I have a Samsung Intensity II with no data or texting plan. I had a Blackberry several years ago and went back to a basic phone just because. I'm anxiously awaiting my green 5c. Nobody needs a smartphone or the newest technology. It's all about what you want and how much you're willing to pay. Most people getting the 5c couldn't care less that it's almost last years model with a different case.

I fall into the category you pointed out above. I text, go on youtube, and listen to music and browse the interwebz. My 4 year old 3GS does that fine still but its mic is broken so its become useless to me and that is the only reason i'm getting the 5c

The 5c will sell just fine-hell it's the 5. The only difference is the color, 2hr improvement of battery life and not being sold in 64G; And for cheaper!
