The jerk that put the power button in it's current location was definitely not a left handed person :p

I suspect that a lot of right handed person hold the phone with their left hand. I do, for the reason that holding the phone requires less dexterity than pointing/clicking, which I often use my right hand for. Think about it, if you are right handed, you would hold a clipped board with you left hand so you can write with your right hand.

But I do switch back and forth and I don't have a problem adjusting.
 
While I can't say I love the new placement of the sleep/wake button I can say that the original placement would not work for me. It would cause for me to have to shuffle the phone to much and risk dropping the phone. The button placement is the least of my worries more afraid of bending it lol
 
While I think it's better on the side, I think it would be better if it was in the middle of the phone (on the 6+ at least). With the size of the 6+ it's quite a stretch for me from normal holding position to hit the button, even with long fingers.

You're not the only one. I use my left hand to hold the phone often. I also accidentally push the volume and power button at the same time regularly. It's a total pain.
