Yeah.. It's still awkward though. They just need to slow it down my 500ms or so & it'll be perfect.

My muscle memory always kicks in & I automatically use my normal finger. Thank god for Apple Pay on my Apple Watch!!

I love the increased speed. Apple Pay and Touch ID enabled app logins are super snappy. If I want to look at my lock screen I use a different finger or press the power button. The only thing I'm still having trouble adjusting to now is that my Air 2 isn't as fast and sometimes I don't hold my finger over it long enough to unlock.

Yeah.. There's a massive difference in Touch ID speed between the iPhone 6S & iPad Air 2.

Doesn't take long to get used to new features/performance & then look at your other devices with contempt..

It was the same when Touch ID was introduced on the iPhone 6 & I'd keep holding my finger on my iPad home button expecting it to unlock automatically.

Apple can be cruel sometimes. There's always a gap between technologies. Even the 30 pin connector & Lightning cable did my head in for month's. I think I bought the iPad 4 just to get the Lightning port.

God I'm an Apple sucker. Not feeling the all-in-one USB-C port on the new Macbook's though. I want more ports, not less. Especially when I the need to buy loads of expensive adapters/cables!!

Never thought that I'd be complaining that fast is TOO fast..

I'm normally moaning about how slow things are. It was like Christmas Day when I saw that my new iPhone 6S Plus had 2GB of RAM. That was a thorn in my side for years. Open another app, go back to what you was doing & the original app bloody reloads.

I'm at peace now with my 50 open Safari pages & 20 multitasking apps all at once..

I've found that changing the home button double click speed in Settings > Accessibility > Home Button to slow helps too.

Man, I missed three important iMessages today due to the fingerprint scanner! It's so damn quick that I didn't notice there were unread messages on my lock screen until later on in the day when I opened the Messages app. WTF. Is there a way to slow it down???
now is more accurate and for my is better, before if my finger was wet, i could never unlock, now it always unlocks. You can use the power button or maybe another finger, it's all about getting use to it.

It's definitely fast, but I'll take the convenience of fast over the hassle of not seeing my lock screen any day. The iPhone has a sufficient notification system so that you really shouldn't ever miss anything.

Its love it. Finally the phone unlocks instantaneously, which I always found a bit too slow on the 5s and 6

Its fast but once you get used to it, its awesome.

Operator error, reboot operator erasing muscle memory.
