You need to download the iOS 8 IPSW - iOS 8.0.1 isn't being signed any more, so it won't allow you to install it.

weird i also had a similar DIDNT show up inccident with spell check in the keyboard settings my iphone 6 plus tmobile does not have it while my friends iphone 6 plus tmobile does

I just deleted it myself as well however I still have the red 1 showing.. how do you get rid of that...

Before the SW upgrade was pulled, I was attempting to update my iPad Mini. It failed to upgrade, but is now in limbo. iPad is in recovery mode, and I cannot restore it. I am in loop, telling me I need to restore, but when I attempt to restore, it appears to download, but never restores.
