I love the modular watch face - it's the most information with just a quick glance ... but then I also like Utility, because it's more like a "real" watch (you know, the one we force our children to wear so they learn to tell time), but the quick glance on Modular is just hard to beat.

And the jellyfish! I love the jellyfish!! But I want my circles, too! :(

I can't get off the modular one. Just cause of all the info even tho I don't use the info that much haha

Speaking of glances, why the hell can't I access things like stopwatch, alarm and timer from glances?? I spent an hour with an Apple genius last night on the phone, but he too thinks it's a completely oversight.

Just use Siri?

How could you not like the modular face! I love all of the information at a glance - daily weather forecast along with current weather, battery, activity, day, stopwatch, date & time. Hell, I'd like to add more info to the screen if it allowed me to.

There are plenty of 3rd party apps that offer stopwatch/alarm/timer apps with the glances feature.

I'm hoping for an auto-rotation option, where the watch randomly picks a watch face and changes it every hour.

My major issue with modular - wayyyy to easy to accidentally touch one of the complications and launch the associated app. Plus, it doesn't look like watch.

Astronomy and Jellyfish are mesmerizing, but only for so long. And I have to have the activity complication.

What I use - My main go-to is the Simple watch face at maximum detail. It looks real nice, like a real watch. The Utility watch face it nice too, but it looks a little too much like a Timex.

Besides the max-detail Simple, I also have the -minimum- detail Simple which I plan to use for formal attire events. It's the most elegant.

I also have three Color watch faces in three different colors, to suit my mood. Those three, along with minimum Simple, are my four stored custom watch faces.

I'm 31 and a business professional and cannot wait for the Mickey face. My sons love Mickey and I also had a Mickey watch as a kid. Flame away.... lol

I love these forums. (Mostly.) They reassure me that I'm not the only one who's nuts.

I've finally settled on a system. Utility when I'm working, with calendar at the bottom. Chronograph when I'm outdoors during the day, with timer (as well as stopwatch) because I like timing things (e.g how long I've been walking). Mickey at night because it makes me smile and reminds me I'm not at work.

I believe there are some medications that can help this situation. See your doctor.

Huge fan of the Utility and Mickey Mouse faces for the fact that those 2 are the only ones that seem to be able to have a Calendar with the Name of your next appointment. I can't tell you how much I love that feature at work where I can quickly glance at my phone and know what time my next meeting is and what meeting it is.......I am using the Activity and Temperature complications on top with Calendar on bottom.

I am not a fan of the Motion, Astrology or Solar as they lack complications. To me one of the best features of the watch is to quickly glance at your watch and get information. I do agree, Apple did a great job with options that appeal to many tastes.

anything but Mickey... if you're a male over 16yo why do you have mickey as your watch face? would you really be wearing a Mickey watch if you didn't have an AppleWatch probably not.

Wow! The chicks must dig your sense of fun and the fact you take yourself so seriously!!

I'm 39. Married with two children. I work in retirement benefits and wear a shirt and tie to the office every day (I wear trousers too!!). I am also grown up enough to be comfortable with my preferred watch face choice of Mickey Mouse without needing to worry about what anyone else thinks of me. I bought the Apple Watch for me, not to try and be cool or get attention (I'll show it off if someone asks me about it).

I'm finding a lot of the fancy ones distracting:p

Sticking to Utility for now with the battery, temperature and timer complications.

I've settled on this one.
Weather
Date
Battery
Activity
My initials inbetween the Apple logo

Would be cool if you could set a schedule on the phone to change to different watch faces depending on when it is .

I did have micky for the first day, , then i went simple until yesterday when i settled on modular just because of the amount of info it can show. I did not even know you could tap the complications to launch the app until somebody said in this thread.

I do hope we get more faces soon, either added by Apple or App Store.

Although I would definitely be petrified of the jellyfish in real life, I love the animations on the watch face. Unfortunately, I have a great dislike for digital faces, and so use the Utility face as I can have the date, weather, battery and small readout of digital time (it is useful in specific situations, but I don't want to rely on it for general timekeeping). It's more utilitarian (hence, I suppose, its name!) but much more useful.

How hard would it've been, Apple, to have a nice simple white analogue overlay over the jellyfish and butterflies? :p Isn't this meant to be the most personal device yet?!

I am joking (slightly - I seriously would love an analogue + jellyfish face), but if you prefer analogue faces there isn't a great selection. Utility is pretty nice, as is Simple, but Colour just doesn't look very nice (in my opinion), Mickey Mouse is impossible to tell the time on, and Chronograph's constant stopwatch hand annoys me. (Though it's probably just me.)

Wait until we get hundreds of watchfaces, like some other watches have.

It can get quite addictive.

I'm even thinking of writing an Android Wear watchface master that automatically switches between multiple watchfaces during the day.

Yeah, definitely first world problems.

Picked up a Moto 360 at BB for $179 (Stainless Steel with Leather strap).

I purchased one watch-face app for $.99 that has over 5,000 faces available. All fully customizable with options like weather, watch and phone battery percent, fitness steps, color, font, etc. I saved 20 from that app so far. My favorites: Mickey Mouse, Rolex Submariner, Assassin's Creed, Pilot Chronomat, cool motherboard circuit face. Yeah too much choice can be a bad thing.

I still can't decide between
Mickey
Astronomy
Motion (esp. Butterfly, but they're all great)
Simple

So funny. I personally didnt like the Mickey Face and I found it pretty lame by apple to show it off so much. But now I absolutely love it

Apple really outdid themselves with these.:apple:
