I returned the 17 pro because it’s just more dated hardware imo.

It’s just the iPhone 12 Pro with a bigger bump, I then bought the air and holy moly what a device.

It’s made me rethink everything, my usage case and what’s possible in the future.

The Air is the BEST iPhone since the iPhone X and when you use one you’ll agree, it’s the future and feels it.

I mocked it when we started getting leaks but I was so wrong, perfect screen size, great battery and great camera.

It’s a product that feels like classic apple, not the same old garbage they’ve been doing recently and if the iPhone 20 is anywhere close to this design then the future is very bright.

Tell us after 2-3 weeks of use. Leave the battery pack at home, and charging cable too. Hide cable, where you can’t easily find it…

Hi - I’ve been using the iPhone Air since launch (just over 3 weeks). My sentiments are exactly the same as what Maverick has stated. In fact, my appreciation for the Air has only grown the more I’ve used it. No issues making it through a typical day without battery pack or charging. As far as hiding your own charging cables, I’d say that’s going out of your way to create a bad experience in order to make a point. The truth is that the Air performs great in day-to-day usage for most people and the form factor feels like a leap forward over what came before.

The Air is fine. I wouldn’t buy it myself because I would prefer the features from the regular 17 like the Ultra Wide and Macro, and the better battery life (even if slightly) but I don’t care about speakers.

It’s a simple matter of preference. A second camera and better battery life, or design and thinness (and comfort)? I don’t think there’s a wrong answer.

Vs the Pro it lacks a bit more, but its overall in the same realm. The key is whether the buyer cares about what’s missing.

Battery life isn’t as good as the regular 17, let alone the Pro Max or the 16 Plus (which are the best iPhones ever until now, beating the 17 Pro Max when they are on iOS 18), but if it is enough for you (and I’m sure it is for most), then it is fine.

The Xʀ was considered a battery powerhouse on iOS 12 and the Air should be better by a few hours of light use. Battery life is fine.

It’s not a bad purchase if you like it. I have the 16 Plus and would consider it a downgrade, but I don’t care about weight, I got used to the Plus. Others may disagree, and that’s okay.

I used the iPhone Air without any top-ups in the middle of the day during the 2 weeks I had it. I didn't go out of my way to hide my MagSafe charging dock at work but I did unplug the cable so I can use it purely as a dock. It worked more than fine for my use. Way better than the 13 mini and SE3 it was supposed to replace.

It’s over a week since I went back to a space black Air after using a 17 Pro for a short while.

The Air is such a pleasure to use, it doesn’t have any compromises in my eyes. The form factor having a large screen whilst being so comfortable to hold is simply awesome thanks to its thinness and weight.

The battery is way better than its capacity would have you believe, for my usage it was pretty close with the 17 Pro despite the sizeable differences in the battery capacities.

Performance was neck & neck with both having the A19 Pro and 12GB of RAM, the one less GPU core may become noticeable if playing some demanding games which I don’t do.

Whilst the Air looses out to the 17 Pro in the camera department, it’s setup is capable of taking some amazing photos.

Really can’t praise the Air high enough. Absolutely love it.

The compromises that everyone(tech YouTubers) keep mentioning really aren't a compromise IMO, I believed their bull%^& and mocked the Air when it was leaked and then revealed but after returning the 17 pro I tried it out and wow.

The single speaker is still great and clear, the battery is great and the single camera is fantastic, 99% of people wouldn't even notice the lack of the other two.

I thought I was a Pro only user for years buying the top end model, owning every single Pro model since the first and the X/Xs but the Air has changed the game.

A19 Pro, 120hz, 3000 nits, 6.5" OLED, all the things you expect from a pro model but on a completely new stunning form factor, it feels like classic Apple who use to make something beautiful, have incredible user experience and didn't spec chase for the sake of it.

I'm very excited to see what they do now with the Air 2, Foldable and iPhone 20.

It’s become the life of any party..especially pro users who didn’t need whatever extra it brings..they flock around to see in person.

The battery is better than my last few pro models.
Alright! If you say so...
Keep telling yourself it’s a bad phone though, you’ll be lapping it up when the iPhone 20 is the same.
I would say that it is still an experimental phone -- not only the phone itself but also the users. I’m not in any rush to get the first experimental handset that’s just been released. If Apple continues to produce the next Air models -- two or three -- I might be interested. Is anyone still buying an M1 Mac these days?
