Hey everyone!

I have an innovative idea for a new product from apple. It is called : iPrinter.
You don't want an enormous machine in yout house anymore... I mean.. Who wants that???
Why not make it as easy for you as possible : printing paper in your own very hands!

The iPrinter looks the same as an ipad... But than twice as big. So its thicker..
In this way.. You can put in paper in the front of your iprinter en when you press print on the touchscreen on the iprinter it will print your copy. On this iPrinter you can also browse on the internet, and than print a page straight away!

Let me know if you guys like this idea!

Thanks! Robin

Robin,

It would be good to have a well-built, compact printer. I see where you're going. I agree with others, however, that we will most likely begin to move away from printing documents from our PCs, and that Apple probably won't get back into the printer business, but who knows. I'd personally be more inclined to buy an Apple printer than a watch.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with the community.

Best,

ZLM

OK BetteF. I'll bite. Assuming yours is a serious question and not somebody's idea of a joke, and that is by no means a safe assumption to make around here, I first have to tell you that you're in the wrong place. This thread is talking about make believe printers that don't exist and probably never will. As for Apple's Text Edit: it's a bare bones simple text editor that only can save .txt files. That means that even though you may be able to adjust font and font sizes on your screen, some printers, especially older ones, will not see these changes. Going from Word to Text Edit is like switching from a 747 to a hot air balloon. If you don't have Word for Mac try Pages. You can do that for free by logging into iCloud.com with your Apple ID and using the online version of pages there.
